I find with many styles that the front of the bra sits away from my ribcage.
Sorry, but it does mean you need to go up a cup size, even if that does mean you could wear it as a hat. See?

    Link not working.

Most fitters tell me the problem is me. One said my boobs didn't sag enough given the size of them so they sat too upright in a bra:rotfl:

Your link doesn't quite work, you've got an extra http in it. It should be this. But that confirms my Debenhams-fitted bra is wrong, can I take it back? The underwires are digging in under my arms, and have actually broken the skin and bruised me!

Glue and sew for me too. Professionally measured but they still come out

Also does anyone know where I can get new wires. I have a fab bra I love, so much so I wore it loads and wire snapped :( puncturing me in the process. Would love to be able to get a new wire and fix it.
One day I might be more organised...........

Any with a wire should really be hand washed. Most net bags will still have big enough holes to let a wire come out and break your washing machine. Tied up pillowcase I think if you have to machine wash them.

Have you tried taking them back for an exchange? My OH has done this with the last three she bought from Bravissimo. Never been a problem. Not been wires coming out, but fabric splitting and they always put it down to a manufacturing fault. I suspect it is something to do with wrong size too, but every time she goes in she gets measured as a different size!

Try https://www.englishcouture.co.uk - this is a company selling products for dressmakers and bridalwear specialists but they also sell bra making equipment. Unfortunately the size of wire is rather limited but hopefully you'll be within the range they offer.

    Hope this helps

  • It says on the label to wash by hand on my bras!! (Not that I do!!!!!:naughty: ) They used to come out the centre end not the arm end and poke out my clothing!!! It looked very funny!!!:rotfl:
    Luckily hasn't happened for years!!
    May your wires stay in...
