I'm fed up with them working the way through one side or the other of the cup.
This has happened to my fav red one, and today to one I've only worn once before.........................so I know its not me!
I've tried to sew them back in but they always wriggle out again.
Does anyone know how I can remedy this, either before it happens or how to fix it when it does please?

Have you been measured recently? I've been told it only happens when bras don't fit properly.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

No I've not, never had and always been fine. I think its more to do with how they are made. The red one was expensive, todays was a cheaper one.
I'd really like to know how to mend them or stop it happening in the first place.
My DIL gets measured regularly (quite big chested), has her's made and pays over £100 a time..................yet she always looks like they don't fit properly...........poor girl.

I have 2 bras same design different colours, both fit properly and both wires worked out and even after serious sewing they continue to work their way out.0

I absolutely hated my underwires popping out the front or under my arm. They made me sore. The final straw was when 1 snapped in half (yes the wire actually snapped clean in half) whilst I was at work and I had to go home and change my bra. Now I only buy non underwired and they are brilliant. I would never go back to wired and I can't recommend them enough.
To repair them I just used to sew over and over the hole but this only worked for a while before they popped out again.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Make sure you only ever wash them by hand!!!
WHen I mend them I fold some bias binding over then and then double stitch it - using a thimble as they can be quite tough to stitch through - lol. Ususally does the trick and if it wears through then I replace the tape again.
The damn wires always poke through at enbarrassing times - i was doing a presentation t'other week and let out a little shriek as I got jabbed - LOLNoli nothis permittere te terere

I've been determining my bra size and problems over the last week, i've found these two sites helpful and just received a bra in less time than the normal catalogues take to send and for ten pound less!!
Having received 2 this week from both the second site and empire stores I've made a good choice given the advice on sizing and problems with the first site.
I went to Marks last week to be measured and she had me down as a 42 DD/E the cup size was confirmed only after I told her the size bra I had on at the time.
I'm actually now wearing a 44F and it is the most comfortable 2 bra's i've had the pleasure to wear in a long time and one has underwires which I hate usually but you'd never know you had it on...
Well impressed my only problem is finding other companies who sell that size and in something a bit more sexier than what my new faithfuls are0 -
I hate this too. I'm quite well endowed and even happened with my Rigby & Pellar bra.

I have been measured and told my bras are the perfect fit. As a large chested lady (E cup) if I buy an F cup the bra will droop down and I will have saggy boobs.

Can't help with a solution
(it has happened to me in the past, and I have never managed to sew over the hole successfully! ). However, I hope you are planning to take your once-worn bra back to wherever it came from - it only happens to me with "old" bras so I don't have room for complaint...;) but I would be returning my "sub-standard" purchases if they were as recent as yours!
