Underwire in my Bra!!!

on the previous thread about this very common problem, one solution was to make a rounded end to the wire, by dipping in 3 layers of clear nail varnish, and then sewing back into place.0

I thought I was the only one that this happened to...
I got a lovely panache bra from Bravissimo and after wearing a few times the wire poked out from the middle which is really dangerous I think.
I emailed Panache directly and got a response saying take it to Bravissimo as they sold it... I hate taking things back, especially if they have been worn as the sales staff make you look like a criminal!0 -

(Although I do mine in the machine on the "handwash" cycle, and would be quite happy to state that I had handwashed them should I need to take one back to the shop.)Operation Get in Shape

I handwash my bosom holders and leave them to air dry. The underwire coming out has been a real problem for me recently too, i've never had it happen until about 6 months ago.
I got measured for the first time in years at contessa (now been taken over by La Senza). I am not surprised 75% of women are wearing the wrong size when most people working in bra shops don't seem to know how to measure properly! She took the underbust measurement and guessed. I was wearing a 36D which was tight and she worked me out to be a ........ wait for it ..............36B, !!!!!!! I found out that i'm a 38DD afterall.....0 -
it always happens at the most embarrasing times..... was having a very intelligent grown up conversation with my head teacher when i looked down there was the wire poking through my shirt front, couldnt push it back or pull it out just had to stand with my hand over my chest. not sure if he'd seen it or not (actually he must have done with how far it was sticking out but he was a gentleman).
had to rush off to loo and have a fiddle lol'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0 -
Thank goodness. I thought it was just me too!
Thanks for all the ideas: plenty of things to try now to try and stop this irritating problem
Slipping straps drives me nuts too, but racerbacks don't seem too popular.. I can never understand why..0
