    Evening all

Had an unexpected day at home with W today. Last night he was sick 3 times :( His bedding was washed and our bed had to be changed at 1am  But he has been a star all day, not moaning at all. He has struggled to keep anything down but did request a chocolate biscuit so who am I to refuse? So far so good that is still down. They are both in bed shattered now, Miss A went to school and helped run the ICT session with her teacher this afternoon:D.

W and I watched taped Heartbeats and James May Toys for most of the day :)

Have skimmed the thread but have brain fog tonight so hugs all round.

Ahhhh - the power of the female hormone! :D

AnW's you were naughty with the chocolate biscuit. Starve 'em until they don't vomit anymore. Then wait a bit before you give them a piece of toast (without butter/marg etc) and see what happens. If nothing improves, rinse and repeat...:p

    Evening all,

AnW's mum, big hugs to W.

Ds1 isn't very well, he was off school today because he's got a cough, cold, sore throat, headache. He's been in bed most of the day but came down about 8 saying he felt really rough so i gave him some more paracetamols and took his temp. It was 38.8 at 8.30 it was 38.9 and at 9 it was 39.1. I'm going to take it again at 9.30 and if it's not gone down i think i'll have to phone NHS direct. Ds2 has also started coughing so i think i'm in for it for the next few days.

I have my new ( to me ) car and OH's is almost fixed, they just need to wait for a part to fix the window. I must confess i'm not sure i like mine but i can't tell OH after he bought it for me.:o Even though it's newer than my last car it doesn't have central locking or electric windows and it feels a bit like driving my old Metro i used to have. I am so grateful to OH though and I'm sure once i get used to driving it and see how cheap it is to run i'll fall in love with it.

  • Holly - if it's small like mine - peugeot 107 you don't need electric windows - I can wind passenger window down without moving from drivers seat! LOL Does 70 miles to the galllon and costs £35 a year to tax and group one insurance. Got it brand spanking new with 8 miles on it in april and still haven't done 1600 miles! I'm like 'teddy edwards goes to the big city' when I drive out of my village!
