    I also CHEATED as some stuff came out of the TD looking like it didn't need to be ironed...so I didn't :eek:

    Welcome Signs of recovery, if you click on the red writing, you will find the thread that starts tonight for this week!

    Toots, your lunch sounds lovely. Sorry for moaning about DH again, I have been much more patient with him lately, just needed to let off a bit of steam as I was tired today. Feeling better now.

    Hugs Quillion

    Mumoftwo DLA forms are officially the hardest form to fill out in Britain, so you did well to complete it! WTG!

    Plans for today:

    [STRIKE]Take OH food shopping[/STRIKE] (he's agreed as I persuaded him that he couldn't go shooting at the outside range due to the horrible weather - we've had lots of hail this morning);
    [STRIKE]Do literacy plans for the week and find resources for them[/STRIKE];
    [STRIKE]Find maths resources[/STRIKE];
    [STRIKE]Find lesson ideas for PE for Spring plans[/STRIKE];
    Mark some of the literacy books (at least half);
    Change sheets;
    [STRIKE]Do washing[/STRIKE];
    Dust and hoover;
    [STRIKE]Prepare lunch for tomorrow[/STRIKE];
    [STRIKE]Email plans to colleagues[/STRIKE];

    whilst I'm away next week....did I tell you i'm going away as a pre-birthday treat with a very old friend. Three days, two nights...and they're school nights too! :rotfl:xx
    no mudders you didnt tell us that one!! how lovely - that should be a really relaxing break - just what you need after everything thats been happening - BTW - did DS manage all weekend away - no pains?

    pigpen WTG with the lists - you must be getting the house back into shape now with all the workyou have been doing?
    Quillion awhhhh huge (((hugs))) honey - I would go with no. 1 and do your own thing - DH shouldnt have to think about it IMHO - and even though you know your MiL wont come you can still do what DH wants ansd ask her - try not to give in - I know how you feel too - I would rather do what i want to do not what I feel i need to do to keep my mother happy but if there is another christmas for me then it will be different.
    ETA i think thats a good plan - he can pop over to his Mum's and then you can all have a family day together. Excellent idea - now just go tell him its been sorted:rotfl:
    Dusty and if the boys can see she is being horrible about it then let her stew - its her loss angel. Sounds like she is being a bit petty over the arrangements - Hope Dolly and Rose did the trick:D (((hugs)))
    PenPen well done with the decorating - you will be glad to get back to 'normal' this week.
    sexy well done - you have done nearly all your list - hope this week is easier again - how many working days to the hols:rotfl:

    ok I am off to the new thread now.
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
    could do better - must try harder

    Ooh - I know this one! 15 :j I've got a countdown on my fridge which started off with how many weeks, and then when I got seriously depressed, turned into the days too! lol

    I bought all of the children's chocolate santa lollies at lidl today, so all their pressies sorted - will need to set aside an evening to write out all of their Christmas cards soon.

    Think I'm going to leave the rest as it's time for bed so that I can get up in the morning - my poor literacy books haven't been marked for ages! Must do some tomorrow.

    Oh yes... I'm currently reading Bad Science (nearly finished). I think a lot of you would enjoy it... it explains really well how the media and others with agendas of their own manipulate and misrepresent facts, so we really don't know what's right or wrong.

    I'm reading it too!

    Not sure all people would agree, though, it may go against people's prejudices (ie scientists in ivory towers inventing theories to boss us about).
