potty - how is the decorating going ? I have done some little bits but its painfully slow. Pesky kids keep being here and then I cant do any  and lunch out today was far more appealing :rotfl:
Did get a good bit done this evening from 7-9, got 2 teeny walls, one big wall and ceiling left to do. Dreading the ceiling.

    :o
Not so well, to be honest.
    Nor is the flying
But then again I have been nightshift this week.
But from Wednesday I am off for a few days:j
So I am hoping to get a bit done then.

Piggers - now I understand why you were knitting noses etc.! I love it - very talented. If I tried to knit one it would end up looking like the dog had eaten!!!

In my HHC (thanks for joining me Juliejim) - I s/s the kitchen and the landing. I also vacuumed the landing, our bedroom and DS's bedroom. I s/s'ed DD's room ready for her to see it finished in all it's glory. It looks so much bigger now and I really hope she loves it. I also put a wash on, sorted out some dry clothes and I'm about to pair up the underwear. Sure you all wanted to know that! Oh yes, I also emptied the doglets xx

OK - I need a plan (and a kick up the ***)- thank you toots - that's what friends are for :rotfl:
    Shower - dress - DONE
Put away yesterday's washing - DONE
Go and get mixed spice - DONE
Make cake - Cake in oven
PLUS - I have shortened and sorted the waistband on the second pair of trousers - so both are finally done and wearable :T

Have a super lunch toots - I'm OK thanks - just a bit winter CBAish. Still dithering about getting a book reader, or rather dithering about spending the money.

Hugs for all the teachers spending their weekend working.
and anyone else who needs one.

Thanks for all the hugs guys. Been stressing all day, have a headache too. I did speak to my sis and fortunately she thinks mum is being a right mare too and says she is still coming to me at Christmas so I hope that happens, she is my only sibling and my kids her only nephews.

Done some retail therapy at JL on their 20% off day - got 2 new bras - I was desperate. Got fitted and I was in the wrong size - I'm a 30D and not a 32C. So any tips on who is good for that size - I've got chantelle today - expensive

Also got my foundation at 20% off which I'll put by as one of my xmas presents - i get them and DH wraps them - suits us both.

Finally got the fabric to make my kitchen blind so that is a job for this week.

No flying done, not even the wm on, oh well tomorrow is another day and I'll carry my list forward and do it tomorrow - planning the whole day at home.

Kaz - hugs and you too Rose

Lil_me - just what you don't need, hope he is better real soon x

    Pooh
    hope the wedding went well

    Sexy
    - glad things aren't quite as desperate now
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • Not having a great day at all my Mother has really really upset via my son. I am so hurt and furious she should involve him and all about Christmas arrangements - she is now cutting off her nose to spite her face big time and as always I'm left feeling guilty, bad and sad.
Dusty honey dont you dare feel bad sad or guilty - you are none of these - your Mum (like mine) has the problem - so chin up sweetie and hard as it is just try to forget what she has said - if Ds is upset then tell her straight that she needs to deal with you and not the children - and if she doesnt like it - then tough - I know you are like me and like to try to keep the peace but sometimes we just have to stand up to them!!

having said all that I have to confess that i have just had a phone conversation with mine and could have cheerfully strangled her all the way through it!:rotfl: but now that i have put the phone down its gone - she lives to annoy me another day!!!
DS3 just saw a picture of Martin Lewis in the paper and said 'Look Mum, it's the flyladies manager!'
    I love it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
kazw that is so annoying - dont be too accomodating when he does want it picked up.
lil_me (((hugs))) for DS1 - hope he doesnt provide any more laundry for you.
kazm oh dear is DD's room that bad - take it slowly now - remember to pace yourself - and what happened to her keeping it tidy? dont try to do it all at once - you could have another go at it tomorrow when she is at school?
I am in such a bad mood today, a combination of not sleeping well, missing the meeting and DH doing everything he possibly can to annoy me 24/7 (altho to give him some credit he did wash up earlier). And why is it so flaming dark all the time?

stomps off to have a nap. Good thing I've got a chocolate bar saved for this evening or someone might have their head ripped from their body
Rosepink I am sure he doesnt do this deliberately. I am beginning to wonder if you should be together. thats just my opinion from what i read in your posts as this is not the first time you have mentioned his behaviour - I thought you were going to try to be more accepting of his ways. And as much as the chocolate bar will soothe you for now - it wont help the diet or the headaches. I hope the nap makes you feel better. Since you cant go to the meeting why dont you sit quietly and read - no computer or tv just peace and quiet. It may help you to relax and sleep better tonight.
mudbath since when did you need any encouragement:rotfl::rotfl: whats elf's name? possible activities :-making reindeer food, making paper chains, dusting, dewebbing, cleaning up dog poo, cleaning the family silver for christmas dinner, wine sampling, tree light testing (finger in socket job of course!) chucking buckets of water at the carol singers, making a snowman - any of these helpful????

thanks everyone I had a lovely lunch - we went to a country house hotel just 2/3 miles from me and its higher up the hillside so it looks over the valley to the Grampian mountains - it was lovely and clear and you could see waaaaaaaaaaaay into the distance. lovely log fire in the bar while we waited then silver service waitresses with white gloves - it was very relaxing and the food was great.

oh well back to reality and beans on toast:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

ok had better get the stars updated and look at my list as most of it will be getting carried over to next week!!!
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last
