Teach up here, complaining not necessary either the teacher or secretary phones immediately rather than any messages being passed on. If the child starts ill in school they even tell the taxi company not to collect them for at least 48 hours. If a child takes poorly in school they won't even get in the door until minimum 48 hours clear. Must admit there are many bugs go round & my kids catch them less often, so must be working.

juliejim well done, my DS1s room needs doing badly.

  • I HATE it when children go back to school to soon following virus. What I hate more though is the way schools seem to harrass you for not sending them in when it is clearly agains all common sense AND there own policy!!!!!(just for the sake of there blessed attendancy rate) Am expecting another letter off DD2 school as since september she has had a week off with a sleepy type virus and has now had a week off due to piggy flu!!! even though the school are aware the computer will automatically flag it up and probably notify the EWO:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:. Rant over. Thats my teo penneth worth.:o
The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:

hellsbells we get none of that here, the schools would prefer to be safe than sorry & don't want to become just a germ breeding ground which I think is good. We only get threats of EWO if you take over 10 days holidays in a year. Never involved with sickness leave & children with good attendance records don't get punished for being 'ill' they are still awarded.

    Kazm are you ok?

I am in such a bad mood today, a combination of not sleeping well, missing the meeting and DH doing everything he possibly can to annoy me 24/7 (altho to give him some credit he did wash up earlier). And why is it so flaming dark all the time?

stomps off to have a nap. Good thing I've got a chocolate bar saved for this evening or someone might have their head ripped from their body
