pigpen what a horror he is for making the children suffer and be upset - thats something else you need to get built into the divorce - "no slagging off of the ex partner"- Yes i as you say i guess he is trying to get at you but to use your own children is despicable - he will lose them - they will get that they wont wont to see him. You better be careful with that moggy and your kittens - you dont want a cat war on your hands:eek: hopefully it will be chipped and you can get it back to its owners. how is Tabitha doing - she must be growing and developing - is she good?

I'm hoping it can be taken back to owners ASAP too.. I'll ring a couple of the cat charities today and report I have it.. and ask if they will pay for the consultation to have it checked over.. it has a nasty cut on its throat about an inch long.. and bloody scratches on its ears..

Tabitha is a spoilt little madam who is going to be quite unpleasant by the time she is 3 if they don't watch it. She has more clothes and toys than an orphanage coud get through in a week. she 'won't' sleep in her own bed, insists on being carried constantly and rocked to sleep. She is finally crawling though, Jacob has been crawling ages and now wants to run. They are both doing well and getting big and noisy!

    Morning all

Football cancelled due to water logged pitch - great for me as I was the one going!

Not having a great day at all my Mother has really really upset via my son. I am so hurt and furious she should involve him and all about Christmas arrangements - she is now cutting off her nose to spite her face big time and as always I'm left feeling guilty, bad and sad.

Need some food and then I'm cracking on with my list and need to pop to Mr W to get food and use my £10 voucher.

    Hi everyone
Just back from the hospital with LO,he had an asthma attack couldnt speak, was falling asleep and I couldnt wake him ....very scary....called an ambulance they put him on a Nebuliser, his sats were below 80.....got to the hospital and he was almost back to normal....did I feel a fraud.
Very nice nurse did say I had done the right thing though,he now has a Ventolin inhaler and Prednisolone tablets and has to see the doctor this week...maybe now they will believe he has Asthma and treat him accordingly

    Very little flying done ...sorry...

OH in Oban all next week so hopefully will keep up on next weeks thread ....we will see....

Love and Hugs to all xxx

You were absolutely right to call the ambulance, anyone who has an attack and cant speak needs urgent treatment. As for feeling a fraud, DONT, it means the crew did their job properly and they will relay their findings outlining his initial condition to the hospital. People die from asthma attacks and what you did was 100% the right thing to do. I hope he gets the right follow up treatment to maintain his health x

TBH.. I don't care what he does as far as I am concerned.. but the children just cannot understand why he isn't seeing them.. they are asking me to ask him.. I ask him, he says no.. them they feel sad.. it is really difficult.

I will see a solicitor but it won't be in the next few days. I am run off my feet this week too!!

He is refusing to see the children to make me suffer I think.. but I don't mind having them 99.9999% of the time.. it is them who are missing him and he won't be made to see it.

Though, they also get most distressed and confused when he is slating me and OH to them.. obviously the children don't understand and it just confuses and upsets them. That is one reason DD1 doesn't want to spend as much time with him as the others do. though she is 15 and quite capable of walking to his house should she want to, and I wouldn't stop her.

Apparently he has slandered me to everyone who would stand still long enough.. but that is less significant than water off a ducks back, the people who matter to me know what went on.

He has text me a list of stuff that he wants from the house.. fine, less crap in here for me to store! He wants the video camera apparently.. but not until I have copied ALL he videos from it.. there are all the last few christmases on there and some of Tiddles when she was very new. Some other stuff I have no idea where it is and other stuff I have no idea what he is on about! lol.

Enough about him.. he has had enough of my thoughts for today.

I know you said enough but I think the way you are handling it is brilliant. Yes the children are suffering and he is being totally unfair. So long as you remain supportive and dont slag him in return (which I know you wont cos you have more about you) In the long term things will settle down and they will have a good relationship with both of you.

OK I cant remember what else I was going to say as I just had a long phone call with DH's lovely Aunty.

Better get on with shower and dressing then tackle DD's room - please give me strength as I will need it
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

DS3 just saw a picture of Martin Lewis in the paper and said 'Look Mum, it's the flyladies manager!'

Going to start with a kitchen rescue and then find my list.

Dusty good on your DS even knowing who Martin Lewis is!! you have brought him up right.

My 'aquired' silver has just taken me the best part of 2 hours or so to clean it all with slivo, seem to have brought it up a treat, used old rags to polish it up, now have to work out how to get the black gunk out from under my finger nails, I have washed and scrubbed my hands 4 times now, (I know, wear rubber gloves next time)

My ebay man who is coming to pick up at 10am STILL has not been, getting well hacked off now!.................

    Toots enjoy your lunch out

Diva if it's that high after the grant, my friend bought hers for just that reason as she said if she was going to pay £100+ a month for 3 years she would prefer to keep it.
Mudbath thank you, I didn't see it advertised when we were there last Monday....think we spent just under £70
hex hope he enjoys his first pantomime
    Crafty yes please :)
AnWsMum oh bless her, send her a big hug from me (my DS2 is a lucky tike too he won all kinds yesterday inc wine, DS1 & I didn't) Well done with sticking up for you & the other staff, I do hope that your complaint is actioned as that is just plain wrong. LLB should be proud of you. Oh I tried Boots, goes out of stock very fast.
Triker if she goes through a lot of cages it might be worth considering a glass tank (like they use with gerbils)
((hugs)) for Dusty, try not to feel guilty, I know it's hard, she's the one who is out of order not you. :rotfl: @ the Flylady manager, you should tell him he will probably find it hilarious!
kazw IIRC last time I used it I scrubbed loads of soap into my hands for ages then soaked them

Gas usage reduced by 1/5th last 24 hours even though we used more hot water, I put heating on at 1am for DP coming in & he put it back off, need to work out how to use the timers properly. Spoke to my neighbour who also has combi but slightly different, they go through £1000 a year in gas, I nearly fell over!! THey are close to 80 & have heating on more than us I think but wow, made me more paranoid now :o

Not done much so far, DPs club finishes at 3pm, I got out of going as he has not sorted DS1s car yet. Couple of laundry loads but not much else. Need to do some money sorting/switching then will hmmmm don't know but I will do something. Starting to wonder if being finished the house by Christmas was unrealistic.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

No I didn't care when my ex wouldn't see the kids - he had no transport and declined my offer to take them to him. But then HE didn't see DD sobbbing at night wondering why her daddy didn't want to see her.
Up until the she was a devoted daddy's girl!
