Valli DSs schools are really strict with the rule, DS1s the most being special school a tummy bug can be fatal to some of the children who attend. I do know schools which don't follow the rules but if I took mine to school with less than 48 hours and they found out they would send them home immediately. If a child is poorly in class they are pulled out of class into the medical room immediately so they can be collected & limit passing it on. DS1s way too honest & would tell them. He's not the type to have close contact with other children but swimming was back on this week, probably when he's caught it.
One day I might be more organised...........

Don't you still send them home?

our school has 24 hour policy I think.. either way if they are well enough to dash about screeching they go to school! They got the germs there they can jolly well take them back!!
