Massive hugs Quillion - the problem with Christmas is that we all try and please everyone else or we feel selfish. You should do what YOU want to do. If you planned to stay at home and then your mum didn't come would you still have a good time? Tell you what....why don't you all come round to mine (DH cooks so I'll let him know the number nearer the time!!!!). I can just see it on Christmas Eve 'darling, do you really think that turkey will stretch to feed 57?' xxxxxx

I am in again please, last week was a total disaster, just about kept up with the daily tasks, I was bent over my DD's DLA forms which is more like a book and I get really down about it, so the housework went by the wayside, but I am all in this week. Girls and I put the Christmas tree up today so the living room looks nice, tidy and cosy, a good start, start as I mean to go on this week... I will try to read the thread more and comment.

    Have a great week everyone.

Quillion.. option 1... it is YOUR christmas with YOUR family.. if others choose to come they are no doubt more than welcome but suit yourself first! You could do what I do...

I stay home christmas day.. usually cos I am knackered and have to sleep half the day after getting 45 minutes sleep that night!.. then Boxing day the family come round.. I do a run-and-grab stylee food and we eat.. exchange family presents and go to bed early.

Hope you can find a compromise!

I feel a trip to the pound shop coming on .....

    List for tomorrow
    - find an elf
    - find things for elf to do:rotfl:

So far I've come up with baking, decorating the house, visit the Christmas fair in town, go to the pantomime, go to the school fair (I'll end up carrying elf in my pocket because they will just be TOO embarrassed, watch Merry Madigasgar (sp?), go for a drive to spot Christmas lights, DS teach elf playstation.

Can I just say that we already had pantomime tickets...I haven't bought those especially for the elf! Mmmm hope he doesn't need his own ticket.....ohhhhhhhhhhh I could make him one :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. The sad thing is I haven't even been drinking! Stop encouraging me!!!:T
I do hope someone starts an ELF thread...and lets us ALL know what Santa's elves are up to and with whom and we want piccies....
