Big huggy hugs Wilf - I don't think I ever thanked you for being the instigator for decorating our children's rooms. There were times when it was a bad idea but now I'm really glad they're done so thank you xx

the worse bit is probably thinking about it....doing it is not so bad but being done is good

    however....

my step ds1 was so impressed wants me to do his daughters room his living room and his hall stairs and landing....but would write it off against money i owe him (only wants his daughters doing before xmas

    dd1 wants her bathroom doing

i want ds1's room and hot room doing! before xmas

Lil-me thank you - did DH sprain or break his ankle?
Wilf, you sound really down - big hugs..

Ouch - hope you're ok Soappie. I know it sounds daft but sometimes these things heal more quickly if they're broken rather than sprained (just trying to be Pollyanna!) xx

Dusty - thanks for the approval on the plan :) In some ways I hope it's broken because then I can plan! And as Mudders says, a break will often heal much more quickly than a sprain. I know with a break, it's minimum six weeks and things get better after that...

Rach - allow yourselves a weekend of sheer decadence and chilling. It's a milestone achieved with DH's exams. That studying stuff has been, if I remember correctly, a constant part of your married life. Enjoy the freedom and embrace it!

Have organised stuff. NN will pick me up and drive me to Casualty at 8.45am tomorrow morning. She'll drive home again and will await my phone call to say I'm ready to be picked up. She also offered shopping chauffering if it's needed.

DD has gone all sort of guilty because she had said she could drive me there about 10.30am (she likes to sleep in until 10 on Saturdays) but I've told her off for feeling guilty. NN is really pleased to be asked to help and is really happy to do it so that's all sorted.

*STOMPS in.. flounces down in a comfy chair, folds arms and growls at ANYONE who looks at her*

I am NOT to be disturbed this evening.. I am in a right old grump.. I have no idea why.. though parting with the best part of £1200 this morning won't have helped lol.

I have a huge list of stuff that might be getting on my t!ts this week.. and the school PTA nagging me to do stuff for the christmas fair.. Erm.. no.. it isn't like i have nothing else to do is it!?!

Everyone fed.. and they are just watching Merry Madagascar.. for the third time.. tonight.. then they are all off to bed..

You know.. I think I may need christmas songs and wrapping...

And ice cream, the eternal cure all! and copious amounts of tea.

    My kitchen looks furry nice...
