huge hugs for you Wilf - but it is just temporary crap. If you could wave a magic wand and get rid of him would you? If the answer is yes then you should BTW.

Big huggy hugs Wilf - I don't think I ever thanked you for being the instigator for decorating our children's rooms. There were times when it was a bad idea but now I'm really glad they're done so thank you xx

Greenbee - don't know if it was a different sort of asbestos but we had to soak ours (drainpipes) and double wrap it before taking to a specialist tip. Hope you get it sorted.

I never did do the HHC but I did clear the cupboard under the stairs and put the new sacks of dog food in there. £98:eek: for a sack each - should last 6-8 weeks though. We've tried cheaper stuff but they both have dodgy bowels!

Aaahhhhh - what's she eating now! xx

fairly early tomorrow morning after the drunks have been treated and before the sports injuries arrive! At the very least, they'll be able to show me how to bandage it effectively.

Top plan of action as ever - hope it's not broken x

Got a few more presents today, have just deleted loads of emails. Time to get late supper for the kids and put another log on the fire.

Ouch - hope you're ok Soappie. I know it sounds daft but sometimes these things heal more quickly if they're broken rather than sprained (just trying to be Pollyanna!) xx

    Evening all

    We're FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

by which I mean DH has done his exam and so (unless he fails, which I think is unlikely...) no more studying :) Feels a bit odd for both of us but I am sure we'll get used to it. He had the day off today and said it was lovely to just chill and not have a nagging feeling that he should be doing something (can tell he's not a woman, I always feel like there's something I can be doing :rotfl:). Bless him, I wasn't even too mad when I got in and he hadn't done any washing up or started dinner.

Plan for this weekend is to walk tomorrow, then we're at friends on Sunday. I have monday off and am going for my blood test (although I might go on Tuesday actually, I've loads of flexi time to take), meeting a friend for coffee, doing some Christmas shopping and generally chilling out I hope!

Don't think I'll manage to catch up properly this week, but love and hugs to all in need.
