have decided i have too much going on, house looks like a bomb hit it. Decorator coming monday, so have to clean, stain and polish fire surround, and fill the holes in the walls.
Out for dinner tonight - yay!
Hugs to anyone in need. Hoping toots and LL are doing ok.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Toots, yes I think your 7 year old neice would love one, they're like rocking horse poo to get hold of though, good luck.
Well managed to get a bit done today, got to Credit Union, took some money from savings, put it in bank, being unnaturally sensible here. This is to tide me over until monday payday.
Went to pharmacy, picked up part of my prescription and some allicinmax, £50 to pay  getting better costs a lot of money.
Then to Argos to pick up an order, then back to hubbys work to pick him up as we have 1 car.
Noticed the credit union do loans with not huge interest rates so may go down this path re getting another car.
Right decided to dye hair brown from reddish....hoping I look better, thank gawd for hair dye is all I'm saying.
Then taking hubby to his leaving event and then a quiet night in, maybe a takeaway and will pick hubby up afterwards.
Oh I also did some housework.....
Swept kitchen floor
Cleaned cooker
wiped kitchen cupboards
wiped and decluttered worktops.
DW X 1
WM X 1
binned all leftover and out of date food.
Emptied bathroom bin.
Rightio, best wash this off, catch ya'll laters. xDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH found a big thorn in Stripes pad. She seems fine now but I'll keep an eye on her. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! She's now looking at me as if to say 'is it time for my walk now! where's my dinner? who loves me? who wants a cuddle?' She's very happy!
DH was sent home from school today in pain. Fingers crossed it's just a temporary blip!
I've just picked up a pressie for DD at BHS as they had a 20% day. I've got her 60 million cookie cutters as she's loving baking at the moment. There's a cutter for every occasion I think. I also got a couple of DVDs including Marley and I for me to watch over the weekend but I'll give it to her for Christmas once I've seen it.
Dinner eaten, heating on, might go and do HHC but I might not!:rotfl:
Today's list is complete!!!!0 -
LG well done
Mudbath wooop great news, well not that she's been sore but as it's not hugely serious. Bit of savlon might help after you have bathed it. Oh Marley & me if you are soft like me have a box of tissues out!!!!!!!!!
soappie, it does mke all the difference when you are appreciated. Good idea with timing A&E, kids too on Saturdays! I'm pretty much an expert on strapping DPs ankle as I had to for years until he got his expensive brace, still do it when it's swollen. Never leave the heal out if you are doing compression bandage was a rule from his physio as it can cause swelling/more problems.
JillD unfortunately your DH is not unique, I am guessing Froddy who works in SEN will agree men take a bit longer *if they ever accept it at all*. One of the first things I will suggest is allocate a file for your DS, keep any assessments etc in date order it makes life easier. Next bit is give yourself some time, take it all in.
macpep ((hugs)) mine was Monday & I am struggling with my arm still (one hand typing this week)
Triker you would be better off getting a pre paid even if just a short one I think
aj ((hugs))
Oh hollyh that sounds like a nightmare, can they not provide him with a car while they repair? I wouldn't get the second car from there either.
Did some shopping, got it delivered so I could save time in the shop & empty the freezer/find out what I had. So the freezer has now also been gutted. Ok so how is my list going?

Haven't read the thread today, so hope you are all well, done a few bits but will post a list later when I do a few more.....am LMAO at another thread....the bad mothers thread....it's really funny, and nice to know some of the things I feel guilty about are done by others too!!!
AF has turned up and is not cooperating, will have a bit of a fly later and hopefully will get more done tomorrow xx0 -
toochoosey - I found the bad mothers thread rather comforting too
mudbath - pleased it is just a thorn for stripes
PP - don't let me down on the stars! You and I were neck and neck for such a long time before my job got in the way, I really don't want you to break the run now!
Greenbee - don't quote me on this but I was under the vague impression for asbestos you had to have a covered skip?
DH an dI are on one of those evenings where you see what is important and what isn't. FIL is on the final run of his cancers and hasn't long to go. It certainly makes you appreciate what matters and what doesn't. If you have a moment please just think about what really matters and what doesn't. Is it really the end of the world if some basket left so little fuel in your car that you ran out on the way to the petrol station today (coughs, not speaking from experience or anything)'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
