Of course I can understand you, except the obsession with barm cakes:rotfl:

OMG a blast from the past
I'm only slightly transplanted and they're not barm cakes here

*longs for Lancashire delicacies like barm cakes...and sarsaparilla tablets...and Walsh's sarsaparilla...and black pudding... and men who stand in the market in winter selling bags of little potatoes in paper cones with salt and butter...and
    and
    and
I REALLY REALLY MISS STEAK PUDDING

which is the food of the GODS*

  • Oh toots you made me laugh - puts it into prospective! But if you only knew his family, they are really really toxic and we don't need it right know - or should I say I don't need it. Told you I was a nutter!!!
Anyway onwards and upwards - stuff what they say - will get a gob full from me, DD2 is beautiful and bright child and we love her to bits and we will love her baby to death. Just can't stand hypocrictical people, they chucked her son out at 17 and he lived rough for a while and then got into a hostel and finally a coucil flat; we didn't know even where he was for ages they wouldn't say. y'know Carlsberggran (I will talk to you even if you are FROM T'OTHER side ;))
we have had babies brought into our family who arrived here unconventionally
and we were brought up to accept them
so our adopted cousin is treated no differently
the babies born 'too soon' after a wedding
the babies born outside a wedding (and I am going back to when it WAS unacceptable in many circles...)
    we welcomed
    all of them
that's how we have been brought up

    lots of unconventionality

so much so that getting married
    then divorced
    then pregnant
    then marrying
    then divorced again

I had NO WORRIES about my (close and wider) family accepting what I've done

    aren't I lucky?

Hot press now in the other hall, at least it will be out of the way. Shelving move aswell so thats me sorted for tomorrow, i did get a bit of help from DS1 and thankfully there all a sleep now.:D

Right gonna watch abit of news and head to bed, might leave hubby on the sofa LOL.

    Night all.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Valli - We can't all be perfect or you'd be from Yorkshire LOL!!!! Hear hear I say, nobody is less thought in my family because of where they came from or their circumstances, we have all manner of things you have mentioned in our family - we don't give one jot just love them all the same. Can't stand biggoted people and I don't want to hear them right now or I will seriously do some harm. Our familly are really close which is why I don't understand the evilness in DH's - he's nothing like them thank the lord. Give and take, live and let live

    yorkshire...

and tbh when things have 'gone wrong' for others I have often thought

'there but for the grace of God go I...'

It would be a better world if all our babies were planned and wanted...
I'm lucky, both mine were, (so a wedding was arranged to suit;))

    that's not going to happen

I'll settle for loved and welcomed...

    ETA Thanks TOOTSIE ;)
    *mwah* *mwah*
I'm not 100% so I'm turning in... g'night all XXXXXX
