Tootles - I'm glad to see you're reading my posts properly. Of course I meant DS but I wrote DH to see if you were paying attention (honestly, as if i'd make a mistake!!):rotfl:
I hope everyone realises how difficult to type it is when you have a great big hounds head on your knee. She keeps flicking her nose up under my elbow. She is in a baddddddddddddd mood (bad as in naughty - two socks, a letter, a croc and a plastic trug!!!).
My plans for the day;
- walk frogs
- s/s
- work
- visit toys are us and see if the star wars lego ds would really like is there
- see if my replaced sim card arrives and then decide what to do about it. I really have to get a phone as they couldn't get hold of me yesterday when DS :rotfl:was sent home.
I've got stomach ache - did you keep your buggies to yourself anW'smum? Hope W is much better xx0 -
Morning lovelies!
Thanks for all the hugs and words of encouragement yesterday, it means a lot xx
Feeling a bit better today, maybe it's cos I have the day offanyway, I've already been in to town to collect a parcel for OH at the post office, was nice driving round at 7.30 in the morning, it quite quiete :rotfl:got parked round the back and everything. Going to see my local councillor at 10 about the works, hopefully, although it wont be today, she can give me some answers and *fingers crossed* get them to carry out the works, that's what I'm hoping for anyhoo.
Gonna potter around doing some dailies and this avo gonna wrap all of littleys pressies, store them in a box I blagged off yesterdays customer and take them round to OH's, where, woohoooooo, I'm staying the night, I told him I wanted us to have some time together and he said Saturday......littleys staying at nanas, DD1 will be at her B/f's and teenie is old enough to look after himself. Hope our plan comes together.

we have had babies brought into our family who arrived here unconventionally
and we were brought up to accept them
so our adopted cousin is treated no differently
the babies born 'too soon' after a wedding
the babies born outside a wedding (and I am going back to when it WAS unacceptable in many circles...)
we welcomed
all of them
that's how we have been brought up
lots of unconventionality
so much so that getting married
then divorced
then pregnant
then marrying
then divorced again
I had NO WORRIES about my (close and wider) family accepting what I've done
aren't I lucky?
I was reading an article about David Bellamy, who i adore and he said his wife and he planned to have two babies and adopt two, but after the first child she had a series of miscarriages and so they adopted three, and now he has nine grandchildren, in his words "some black and some white". lovely.
eta hugs cyclingyorkie paint aint worth a row. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I've moved things around in my dining room, the computer desk was next to the back door miles away (exaggerate much?) from the radiator, it was getting to a stage where, because of the cold, I didn't want to be on it at all, so I've shifted it to the other side of the room, right next to the radiator but under the window (double glazed) it looks odd but I don't care, and I need a longer extension lead cause the wires are trailing across (will use the plug socket behind me) but it's much warmer, just need to stop the cold draught on my right hand side now but can't it's just the air lol
I've scarfed brekkie so I'm off to see the councillor now. toodles x0 -
