What is the latest with regards to O2.
1) Are these numbers included in inclusive minutes?
2) If so which is the best number to use please?
Many thanks in advance.
PS Sorry I know this information is on the forums but I just want to confirm the latest information. Just got my O2 with x-net (my first contract phone ever !) and want to ab/use it !!0 -
07744 numbers are still included from O2 contracts, but Simply-Fone's list of destinations is a pale shadow of its former self - you might just as well use 0844 numbers for the permanent ones. Other providers' 07744 numbers are still useful for a wider range of destinations though.0

Thank you.
I will mainly be calling India. Are 0844 free on O2 contract as well?0 -
0800, 0844, 0845, 0870 are included by O2, but not 0871. To call 0800, leave off the first 0.
S-F say their 07744s reach India on weekdays (24 hours), not weekends. Similar for other 07744 providers like Yourcallworld.
I think some parts of India can be reached with other 0844 numbers at weekends. It seems to be subject to variation and I haven't checked. Try the MSE Callchecker, or do a search for threads about this - just put India in the search box in this board
edit - I looked at Callchecker myself, it seems to start at an 0871, so no help. But I did find DiscountDial had 0844 to 4 states - maybe other providers too?india [ahemdabad] landline/mobile 0844 566 35 35 5

SF's 'free' service works 24/5 to both India landline & mobile..
tried some of the others & the 0844 seervices above BUT gotta say that SF's quality still by far the best & most reliable :T0 -
Thanks a lot for the info.
My wife is on T-Mobile, does 0744 also work on T-Mobile contract?0
