Its suggested Orange are charging again for 07744 calls!!! can anybody throw any light on the matter

Saving 07744 & Destination Number in Phone Book
You can save both numbers in Phone book then simply find contact in Phone book and press call to go...

On a Nokia phone
1. Enter access number 07744 XXX XXX.
2. Press * three times to show p (this adds a pause).
3. Enter your destination number including the full international code.

On a Siemens or Panasonic phone
1. Enter access number 07744 XXX XXX.
2. Press and hold 0 to show + (this adds a pause).
3. Enter your destination number including the full international code.

On an Ericcson or Motorola phone
1. Enter access number 07744 XXX XXX.
2. Press and hold * to show p (this adds a pause).
3. Enter your destination number including the full international code.

Do you know how to save both Numbers on a Samsung Phone (d600)?
I have tried * 3 times and got the P, but it does not send the
Number after the P

try s-fone no: 07744974404 then 0092

for one or two minutes. then check with BT, if u r min gone down. i was getting free calls to pakistan till last month 0n BT mobile till my contract ended.

I am on o2 contract can anyyone suuggest me free call to India no. Please. thanks

As long as you have got x-network any time any network inclusive minutes.The numbers
07744 97 4116, 4404, 4333 etc etc .All work to India Landline/ Mobile Mon to Fri 24/5

BT Mobile no longer allow calls to 07744 numbers for free out of their inclusive minutes,on their newer contracts.To see if yours does suggest you make a short test call.Then check if its been charged.

I can confirm that btmobile charge for 07744 numbers. I made a test call a couple of months ago and was charged 25p/min. I was well disappointed as I only manage to use about 10 minutes out of the 150 minutes I get for inclusive calls normally but could have made use of my full allowance if calling overseas.
I won't be getting btmobile when mt contract finished next summer(I won't be getting easily damaged motorola phones either but that is for another thread)
