Now, I wonder what you can do to prevent her grooming herself and ingesting that motor oil on her coat. That's not good stuff. Maybe bathing her using washing-up liquid, that should cut the grease. Not that darling would thank you for it.........

Oh, and if Coco has a blanket s/he like to sleep on, rub Missy with that. Then she should start to smell right

I bath mine in baby shampoo, but it might not be strong enough for oil.

I knew she would come back OP:D
I kept poping on to this thread waiting for the good news:beer:

Fairy or other washing up liquid is what rescue organisations use to clean birds and other wild life in oil spills :) The less she ingests the better!
If only our pets could talk! What a story she might tell! :) Hope she's doing ok this morning and let us know what the vet says :)

  • I am so happy that she has come back - have been checking this thread every day for news. I have 2 house cats and one of mine got out overnight a few weeks ago as we left a window slightly open. We found him sitting under our car the next morning, no idea how long he was out but he came straight back!! I was still distraught for those 10 mins or so we thought he was gone though, so I cannot imagine what you went through.
So happy for you that she is back safe and sound - what an adventure!
  • DON'T YOU ALL JUST LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS! Really pleased that your little family is reunited again. :beer:Had to laugh at her dirty paws. :D
