Now, I wonder what you can do to prevent her grooming herself and ingesting that motor oil on her coat. That's not good stuff. Maybe bathing her using washing-up liquid, that should cut the grease. Not that darling would thank you for it.........
Oh, and if Coco has a blanket s/he like to sleep on, rub Missy with that. Then she should start to smell right0 -

I bath mine in baby shampoo, but it might not be strong enough for oil.

Fairy or other washing up liquid is what rescue organisations use to clean birds and other wild life in oil spills
The less she ingests the better!
If only our pets could talk! What a story she might tell!Hope she's doing ok this morning and let us know what the vet says

I am so happy that she has come back - have been checking this thread every day for news. I have 2 house cats and one of mine got out overnight a few weeks ago as we left a window slightly open. We found him sitting under our car the next morning, no idea how long he was out but he came straight back!! I was still distraught for those 10 mins or so we thought he was gone though, so I cannot imagine what you went through.
So happy for you that she is back safe and sound - what an adventure!0 -
DON'T YOU ALL JUST LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS! Really pleased that your little family is reunited again. :beer:Had to laugh at her dirty paws.0
