She's fine today, went to PAH on my way back from work - bought them a new bowl each, few treats and a tunnel - Im such a sucker but they are worth every penny!
Will definitely be investing in some sort of covering for the windows & will be keeping them firmly shut until then!! To those whose cats are still missing, keep hoping & searching as miracles can happen - all the positive tales on this thread show that.
For now I'll leave you with a few more photos of my babies having a well earned nap!

Glad puss's back ok,As for you're windows,this is what I did.
I got some thin chain from the hardware store & some 1/4 in self tapping screws, remove the top screw holding the window latch on,get a 6in length of chain & slot the screw thru a chain link & reattatch to the latch, then simply screw the other end of the chain to the window frame.0 -

Only just found this thread..our big black tom, Dave, hasn't come in this evening
He and our little 'un Daisy always come rushing in together when OH gets back from work..but no sign of Dave so far.
We think that someone is feeding him and encouraging him in..a couple of times OH has been calling for him, and he's head a door opening and Dave suddenly appears...thinking that may have happened tonight, but OH went outside about 40 mins ago and thinks he saw Dave..but then he ran off.
So..OH is out there right now seeing if he can see him..its so cold, and Dave hasn't had any food...oping he appears soon so we can feed him and get him cosy for the night.
So glad your little cat came back safe and well xMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Maybe try knocking on neighbours' doors to see if someone is providing home for him (no matter how unwelcome). If you do find him at your neighbours be very firm and ask them not to feed him at all. You already feed him enough and any more he'll grow fat and with it will come various health problems. I have come across a thread not long ago, I think on this forum, where a lady left it too long to confront her neighbours and the cat eventually stopped coming home. Nip it in the bud now! Good luck. Really hope you find him soon.0 -

Dave came back this morning thank god...so not like him to stay out all night though.
OH thinks he knows which house is tempting him in, if he disappears again then he'll have to go round there and gently ask them not to feed him and lock him in..might say he has a medical condition and mustn't be fed.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
