Thanks all - Im so proud of her for finding her way back. I have washed her with washing up liquid & she is looking much cleaner now - although she is still a bit grubby & she didn't particularly appreciate her bath!
She devoured a whole bowl of chicken when she got in and has drunk a lot of water throughout the night. Vet said she's absolutely fine!:D
By the time I had got up this morning Missy & Coco were running around together like she's never been away!
Im glad there was a happy ending, tbh I was really starting to wonder what else I could do but turns out she did it all on her own!:T:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
Absolutely chuffed to pieces. Had tears appear when you said you found her. I hate being a sop sometimes, but I am so pleased for you!
Pics are cute as - is it definitely oil? Could it be coal? Never the less, it's brill she has been checked out and is running around with Coco again. Happy days !:j:j:j:j:j:j
Edit - looking at pics I can see the oil all ground in, poor kitty!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

OP there are a number of companies that make window protection for keeping indoor cats in safely, it's something I am looking at for Noah. I will post the links if it will help?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Zippychick - knew it was oil straight away as she absolutely stunk of it.
Yes please Firefox - I want to make sure this definitely doesn't happen again! She's always been so timid that although she went on the windowsill she never usually even stuck her head out so I didn't think I needed it. But once is all it took and don't ever want to go through the same thing again!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -

I'm so pleased for you all. Absolutely brilliant :j:j:j0 -
If your darling babe was as thirsty as you describe I'd lay money on it that she was shut in a garage somewhere. So lucky for Missy that the owners hadn't gone away on a fortnights holiday.
The all-clear from the vet is very good news indeed. I suspect your babe will be stuck to you like glue for a while now. Still eight pusscat lives to go!0 -
So glad there was a happy ending and she's back! Hope you got the oil out and she's back to normal after her little adventure.0

Really pleased for you all :j:j0
