Our local Sainsburys has a poster of a missing dog up at the moment, might be worth asking local supermarkets if they'd mind? It's only a small local store like, not one of the big superstores, but a lot of people would see it this way :)

So sad to hear she hasn't come back yet, crossing my fingers for her safe return :)
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important

Been following this and just logged on tonight to see if there had been any news.

My Heart goes out to you, it really does.

    Everything is crossed for you.

Have you tried putting a lost advert on here www.catchat.org in the lost/found section. Quite a few rescues etc check there and it may be worth a try.

All the best and keep the faith. xx

Thanks for your support everyone. I live about 5 mins from a retail park and have put a poster up in PAH but maybe I will venture over to asda & mcdonalds etc & see if I can put posters up there. Im thinking she may wander over towards their bins if looking for food - I have looked there but its such a massive area to cover & maybe the delivery people have seen her.

The rain is still holding off atm so im hopeful that my search tonight will work. She must be starving by now so hopefully that will prompt her to come out of whatever warm place she has been hiding in.

Still trying to stay positive that Im gonna get my girl back - i've read so many stories today about cats coming back so I just hope it's sooner rather than later. Will keep you all updated xx

princessleah - if its any consolation - if she can find food she wont starve- she would eat food you wouldnt dream of giving her! or even hunt her own. I see its started raining now and its windy outdoors - she has prob found shelter - yes try macdonalds etc - good idea - and local chinese takeaways or indian or whatever! their bins not their front doors! my last cat had a passion for chinese chow mein (the area i found him had a chinese takeaway but no other fast food joint, and he loved it, i assume he lived on it).
dont forget to go back round neighbours and ask if they have checked garages sheds etc - they may have missed her first time round!
  • Awwww poor kitty, I hope she makes her way home soon xxx.
  • ahhh princess.... I'm sorry to hear that your furbaby is still missing! This is honestly my worst nightmare! I'm having a party at home on Saturday and I'm so scared that one or both my babies gets accidently let out! To make matters worse, none of my bedroom doors close on a latch so I can't even ensure their safety in my bedroom - so scared!

good luck... I hope your baby comes home soon!

Looktothefuture - do what ever you can to keep your babies safe for your party, I wouldn't want anyone to feel the way I do right now.

Well i've just got in from another search and still nothing - I cut it short as the rain has started absolutely lashing down and im soaked to the skin. although maybe she is staying hidden due to the rain?

I didn't empty my hoover out due to the rain but i put out a cardboard box with her pillow in near the entrance to the flat. It is undercover near the bins so a better position to where I put her bed the other night. I put some cat food in it and am praying that when I get up for work she will be in there snug as bug (I may even check before I go to bed)

Just hope the weather eases up so she doesn't have too cold a night. I will be doing the visualisations again tonight & hopefully positive thinking will bring her back (stranger things have happened)

  • I've just seen your thread. How terrible for you. Has your kitty showed up last night? I really sympathise with you. Must be awful.
A friend of mine's indoor cat also jumped out of her first floor flat and went missing for a few days. We searched everywhere and in the end we found the poor thing cowering in the bushes of neighbour's garden. She was simply so frightened she didn't respond to our calls. I reckon because of the wet weather and because she is scared she is probably hiding somewhere nearby. Look under every bush and into every cranny in the neighbourhood. She might just be there.

:confused:Still nothing. Food had been taken but still don't know if that was Missy or another cat. BF even went out at 2am and had a look around the estate. Im devastated, just want her back home & out of this weather & I really thought we would have found her by now.

    The search will continue x

Aw bless leah! It's so hard to know if it was her eating the food. Keep at it lovie and keep us posted

Looktothefuture - How do your doors close? I h ave a door in my house with no lock, so i wedge a bit of material along the top and pull it shut. That way it pulls tight and I can still get it open. Hoping you can keep them safe
