i had an indoor cat that got out once...she went missing for 3 months. i chanced upon her when i was walking down a road, about 20 mins from my home...she had managed to cross a 6-lane main road!!! the little furries can be quite hardy...so i'll keep my hopes up for your baby

Mine did that too and jumped out of a first floor window. He disappeared for 2 days and I found him...under next doors shed...howling and yelling!!! My advice is to look very nearby, cats know when they are onto a good thing and don't go far!!!

Nothing more to report yet. I have leafleted about 50 houses so far and will do some more later on. Its hard to look atm due to being in work all day but im just praying someone will find her and ring me.
One question though. Do you think it would be a good idea to buy a harness for my other cat and take him outside and see if maybe he can smell her? I don't know if this makes me sound insane or not?:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -

Thats not really a very good idea, cats wont take well to a harness if they're suddenly put it in and dragged outside. it takes days and days, if not weeks, of slow introductions. even the most well fitting harnesses can be lose enough for a cat to squirm its way out of and then you might have 2 cats that are missing.
have u put some food out on the off chance she'll smell it? something really whiffy like tuna perhaps?
not sure what else to suggest other than whats already been mentioned. hope you have some good news soonWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
Yes I've put a bowl of food out in her cat carrier underneath the window where she fell but it hasn't been touched. I've just been out again torch in hand but im really running out of places to look now, it seems im just visiting the same places over and over again - I dont mind if it means ill find her but just wish there was more I could do.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0
