It's the people like you that make it harder for people that have geuinely been incorrectly searched to get it corrected!! :mad:
(Joking! But those Natwest clowns didn't remove their incorrect search of me)
If the search was done incorrectly the lenders HAVE to remove it thats a fact! If you are having no luck with the lender go through the CRA and then contact the ombudsmen

Hello!
Just an update.
Barclays approved my bank account today, went in branch with ID, all good. Will receive a £50 CG Connect card, no OD but 'reserve' facility for emergencies.
Still waiting for the Accessory response.

And I went through the CRA, who said they'd contact the lender, and then they replied saying the lender said sod off (or words to that effect, basically that it wasn't going to get removed, can't remember what exactly the email said)
Would go to the ombusmen if it happened now, but it was done in May so should drop off soon. Well it shouldn't be counted in "last 6 months" now (as it's now 7 months and a week) and by the time I reapply for stuff it should be gone for the "last 12 months" - the search was 15th May 2009, I can't apply until about 27th/28th May 2010 at the earliestWhat theory is that? I must ahve missed it lol

£100 -> £200
£200 (?) -> £500
£500 - £1250
£1000 -> £1500
The 2 posts today have backed this up. I'm shocked they only give out £100 increase as standard, I thought they'd vary it more to how you use the account, how you pay etc. The rules are to make 1 purchase in the first 3 months, and pay any statements that are generated on time. So if I went and brought some chewing gum at Tesco for 35p in my 2nd month and then paid the statement on time and did nothing else at all on the card, how does this prove I'm managing £100 well!? It shows you are going nowhere near the limit, but it also shows you don't need £200. If you are consistently spending £80/90+ a month and paying it back in full, surely that should be grounds for a bigger increase(Ok they are 2 extremes, but I hit the 2nd extreme!! And judging by Capital One's rules, they'll treat you both the same, which I think it wrong!)

I crashed my motorcycle today and the brakes are totally messed up so there will be a costly addition to my credit card balance within the next few days. The garage is picking it up in an hour.
Tore the skin off my elbow, which isn't a pretty sight.
