so how many times has that been for you? Ive had my card 11 months now and one increase from £250 to £500 - in fact, closing it today.

LOL - just like that! :D

Damn, they better give me some more quickly!:rotfl:. Although now the start of uni has gone, £550 split between both cards should be about ok, then hopefully I get accepted for more in the summer!

Thanks, that would be this then? https://www.empirestores.co.uk/rf/emp/secure/navigation/catrequest/catalogRequest.do?cm_re=Homepage-_-Footer+Banner-_-Catalogue+Request

I see it says "The £15 first order discount is conditional on being accepted for an Empire Stores credit account, acceptance is subject to credit status. If you are not accepted for a credit account you will not be entitled to the discount and will not be sent a copy of the catalogue. Minimum order value £25." So I guess if I argued they'd come back and say I knew I was consenting to a credit search by requesting it, because I wouldn't have got one otherwise
I totally depends on who you speak with and how you word it. I would say that I have had over 10 searches removed by various lenders by making up some b/s :rotfl:

Got my Vanquis through. I've got the red/pink one so I can't mix it up with my bank card. Credit limit of £250. Just waiting for the PIN now :)

It's the people like you that make it harder for people that have geuinely been incorrectly searched to get it corrected!! :p

(Joking! But those Natwest clowns didn't remove their incorrect search of me)

I got my increase on my Cap 1 card

Didnt get it initially but sent them a snotty email as I thought the reason I didnt get it wasnt my fault but the lovely manager who rang me back agreed it wasnt my fault and upped my limit for me. Its now at £200...Im happy with that. :D
