Very nearly....filled in the application a few weeks ago to buy a camera and printer...got to submit then decided against it and paid cash the next day. Good deal though..buy now pay in 6 months but bottled it

I want a Barclays Current Plus account so my phone and passport is insured. It's actually a great package account, £300 interest free overdraft, cheaper overdraft after that, and useful perks for £5 a month.

Only shame about Barclays is their stupid Pin Sentry card readers for online banking, foreign call centres and long cues in branch.

That is why they won't give a CC mate, cos he already has available credit of £250 x 30 (£7500) - if he maybe changed to a normal £100 CGC he may stand a better chance...

The usual increases are
Start . Increase on 4th statement
£100 - £200
£200 - £500
£500 - £1250
£1000 - £1500

Usually if you request a catalouge they will tell you your pre-approved limit. This does involve a credit search however if no pre-approved limit is offered you could argue the search and get it removed.

I found that if you do it this way you are more likely to be offered a CL?
