ive ALWAYS felt equifax the better company everythin always seems to update on them sometimes WEEKS sooner than experian ie settled accounts and ure current balances etc

I have never had both reports at the same time so didn't know that, it doesn't surprise me though.

Haha I've just had an alert from Equifax, went on to see which of my applications searched
EQUIFAX CONSUMER DIRECT (why!? It's the experian donkeys I requested the report from!), a Miscellaneous company, has made an inquiry against your credit report on 06/04/2010 . If you were not aware of or did not consent to this search, contact EQUIFAX CONSUMER DIRECT or Equifax for clarification.

CREATION FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD (who?) , a Retailer company, has made an inquiry against your credit report on 06/04/2010 . If you were not aware of or did not consent to this search, contact CREATION FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD or Equifax for clarification.

SYGMA BANK (UK) , a Retailer company, has made an inquiry against your credit report on 06/04/2010 . If you were not aware of or did not consent to this search, contact SYGMA BANK (UK) or Equifax for clarification.

BARCLAYCARD - HD DECISIONS LTD (Pre-app checker)
, a Financial Services company, has made an inquiry against your credit report on 08/04/2010 . If you were not aware of or did not consent to this search, contact BARCLAYCARD - HD DECISIONS LTD or Equifax for clarification.
I think if Tesco have gone Experian only, it may well suit me :rotfl:

i got my card by bumpin a payday loan few years back, it was a new initiative by compucredit at the time basically EVERYONE who bumped there paydayloans got offered a VISA no credit check which suited me at the time as i couldnt get one anyway

its all done through saffron house

except its called RISE says it on my visa instead of MONUMENT

ohhh hang on just called there number says there experienceng TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES............... u may be right pro that may be there polite way of sayin emm WERE BUST

nothin like tellin u at the LAST MINUTE

best explain that DEAL A LITTLE BETTER sooooooooo yeah the deal was the amount u bumped the payday loan for was automatically SHIFTED to URE VISA with a small discount

that way PRESUMABLY theyd stand a better chance of RECOUPIN THE CASH

That's quality! I wish they'd do tha for people not placed on collection. I'd transfer my crap1 "balance" and get it!! :(

I'm guessing they give shockingly low credit limits though? Well a high one but the existing balance uses 90% of it or something?

Zack, please educate me on Matched Betting, is it easy and are the wins frequent?

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

On lunch break... spoke to Sgyma (Flybe) and told them im not happy with CL (got 1k and 19.9% APR).... they told me that i can request an increase to £2,000 after 4 months as long account in good order.

Do they do credit check for each credit limit increase request?

It's not "easy", I guess it depends how good at maths you are which helps. My mate wanted to watch me just to see what I'd typical do. So I did 1 sweep of that day and the next days matches while she was watching, and explained what I'm looking for (something like 4/7 and 2/1 etc) and said say yes or no if you know... I was going way too fast apparently so she never got a chance :p Partly because I've been doing it for a while now, but the better you are with maths the more it helps I guess. Then I slowed down and left it to her to say yes or no, and she says she wouldn't do it even if she could, even though I got loads because it seems too hard!

Also the stake helps, you need quite a big stake to get decent amounts. I've got one for tomorrow that I can't use, because I haven't got any float left (oh I can't wait until next week, hopefully student finance cough up with another 2k for me to use). If anyone wants it PM me, can't post them publically. But it may well be gone soon (when other people like me notice and start throwing money at it the odds will be brought back in-line)

"wins" are frequent, but it depends what you're prepared to take, and also how you look for them, when you are available etc. I'd imagine anyone that's got a full time job would find it quite hard. It varies a lot. E.g. today already (well midnight until I went to bed, haven't made anything since I've been up) I've got 19 quid from in-play last night. Yesterday I got 14/18 (depending on outcome of one match). Day before was £40, then 84 before that, 95, 106, 81, 80, 41, 0, 0 and 17. So it does depend a lot. Plus sometimes I'm not on here at the "key times" so that obviously has a rather negative effect. If I was doing it as a proper job I'd probably make sure I always was!

Got an interesting choice tomorrow! Go to watch the team I support, and pay a small fortune in train fares and getting in, or stay here and I'll almost certainly (as it's Saturday) make money. So I could either be £50+ down if I went to football, or easily £50/100+ up if I stay here, obviously a difference of £150 to if I had gone to football.... it's hard, but it looks like I'm not going to the football!

Annoying thing is the credit card payments that are due, I have to leave money in my bank to make sure the payments don't bounce. Natpest would love any excuse to charge me again after I reminded them it was illegal when I was 17:D

Ah, not really a surprise I guess, I mean they're dealing with people who are/were in trouble, they won't want to throw more credit at them! I think it's a great idea though
