Credit subject to status... they will tell me to jog on then....

And Equifax have about 3000 searches under my name, need some Experian only ones (although I haven't actually seen that report yet as the clowns won't email me it, I'm just assuming that has less!)

yeah they do that itll take about 2 weeks to open it ull need to sign ure cca

they do some interesting books and ranges that mainstream catalogues ie littlewoods dont do but for everythin else its usually cheaper and more appropriate to get them from littlewoods

make sure u pay by direct debit 29.9% apr instead of 44.5%

Close crappy one cos limit so small - They increase the limit after account has already been closed.

Close Vanquis - receive letter to confirm that account is closed, then a few days later receive a letter stating that my apr has been reduced.

I guess that is a hard search? I spoke to Experian and they said it is a search type seen by lenders.

If this is true, i will have to write another letter to get that removed as well. I think it comes from the account review i requested on my account. The person who did the account review did not tell me if they are going to conduct a hard credit search.

Seems HSBC dish out credit searches for fun....applied in branch yesterday for a Advance Current Account and having checked my online credit reports they have done the following

Experian
P1 Credit Search 9/4/2010 Application Type Current Account
P2 Credit Search 9/4/2010 Application Type Current Account (this is a duplicate)
P3 Credit Search 9/4/2010 Application Type Credit Card

Also 2 unrecorded searches for ID Generic check

Equifax

2 searches for the current account (1 duplicate) at current address
2 searches for the current account (1 duplicate) previous address

I have raised an online dispute with the CRAs to get the duplicate searches removed

I was accepted for the account but it was referred, at first it came up I was eligble for a credit card of £500 but then the guy said we have to do some more checks come back in a few hours..when I went back they said they could only give me the current account and that I will need to build up my scoring with them?

:rotfl:just got a letter from Experian saying they won't send my report as they know I've got a redirect! Well if the idiots actually emailed the thing like I wanted :mad:. I've got to provide 2 bills for this address LOL.... student halls... the only bill I have is one asking for 3 grand rent!

If I ignore them they'll go away They charged my credit card though, cheeky sods!

I guess that's the end of me getting any credit, because they'll stick it on my file that I'm not at the address I say I am? :rotfl:

I might phone up and moan and say I'm a student so have a redirect in term time so want them to send it, but I'm not giving them this address so they can create a link, I'll just harass them to send it to my old one!

If a lender asks you to send proof of address such as a bank statement, does that usually mean you've been accepted?
