I was thinking about applying for an AQUA card, but not sure of any CCJ's etc to put on the app form when completing it!

I was going to say maybe it's the VAT rate change, but even then it wouldn't drop to £29.97 (my £35 has dropped to £33.25 I think). That's strange, but if it stays like that, with everything you expected in terms of minutes/texts, then thats a nice saving over the contract term! How long is it for?

I know it sounds stupid, but just wondering, with these appeals letters are you supposed to start them with your address at the top etc as in normal letters? Or just straight into the Dear Sirs on the first line? I'm thinking of appealing my JJB decline, because I want the 10% discount on football stuff! And it's from the Symba or whatever they're called, so if they are supposed to be relatively easy acceptance than an appeal could be worthwhile? Although I’m not 100% sure if this is a 2nd app for them in 6 months or not, but oh well!

    It's a 24 month contract.

Yeah, just follow the standard layout for the appeal letters, or any letters for the matter. http://www.perfectyourenglish.com/businessenglish/formal-letter.gif - your address at the top right.

An appeal is worthwhile for which ever card your appealing for, you have nothing to loose and a human will look at the decision, rather than a computer.

    That's a nice £120 extra you'll have then! :)

Thanks, I thought so, I just copied and pasted the temple and changed it to add stuff in, then suddenly thought that surely I should be adding the address etc at the top as in the standard letter layout

My new phone was delivered yesterday and I dunno what happened but my contract is £5 cheaper a month than the price displayed when I ordered it.

It was supposed to be £35 a month but apparently it's £29.97 now.

Phone is slightly big but it is an absolutely amazing phone. As a former iPhone user, I can proudly say the HTC HD2 is MUCH better.

Thats the amount before VAT mate..... Voda do that on all their things! :D

Got myself a new contract got the new blackberry!

Funnily enough when I asked the guy what the acceptance rate was he waffled on about how easy it was.

When I consented for him to do the credit search and I passed ( Phew! ) he shouted to his mate "Straight Pass" I asked why he said this and he replied smugley everyone has either been declined or referred today ( Cheeky !!!!!!! )

He then proceeded to tell me that 8 out of the 9 employees that worked there had been declined for a full contract and when they tried a sim only deal only 1 of that 8 passed... He reckons that there is a 98% chance of being accepted for SIM only aswell
