grrrrr just had my natwest visa debit fail for the first time. Doesn't work on the M&S website.... availed myself of the cheap alcohol and other gifts that were mentioned on another thread on this fine site.
Had to whack it on my (and my OH's) accessory mastercard instead0 -

I have a question (the first and possibly last of the day it seems!). My Capital One card is due to be paid in full by Direct Debit. The bloke on the phone when I activated said when do I want it taken and I said I don't mind, so I'm pretty sure he said 11th of each month. My payment due date is 19th. On my statement is says payment will be taken on "or within 3 working days of" 16th December. So does that mean it could be within 3 days after (as o2 seem good at doing), or also 3 days before (so 13th). If it is 3 days after, or even if it's 3 days before actually, where did the bloke get 11th from!?0 -

11th (Friday) is 3 working days before 16th (Wednesday). Weekends don't count as working days.0 -

. So it means 3 days before as well? I'd take "within 3 working days of" to mean that or 3 days after....no wonder people rack up charges to these companies!!

My new phone was delivered yesterday and I dunno what happened but my contract is £5 cheaper a month than the price displayed when I ordered it.
It was supposed to be £35 a month but apparently it's £29.97 now.
Phone is slightly big but it is an absolutely amazing phone. As a former iPhone user, I can proudly say the HTC HD2 is MUCH better. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I know it sounds stupid, but just wondering, with these appeals letters are you supposed to start them with your address at the top etc as in normal letters? Or just straight into the Dear Sirs on the first line? I'm thinking of appealing my JJB decline, because I want the 10% discount on football stuff! And it's from the Symba or whatever they're called, so if they are supposed to be relatively easy acceptance than an appeal could be worthwhile? Although I’m not 100% sure if this is a 2nd app for them in 6 months or not, but oh well!0
