  • Mate N Hunter will not pick up regular patterns of same data - only irregular patterns (such as a blind guess by a fraudster)..... any flag will show 'applicant refer' but even so that alone will not decline you, it would make the lender study you before saying yes/no.

I've got iPhone ( Old Phone ) and the Blackberry is the new one.

    What will it flag then?

Mate you know the answers to this! We both done the N Hunter thread at the same time you nuggat lol.......

They will record nothing, if it tallies up with your last application. It would only refer it if (and only if) the data supplied (by you) was different each time you made an application!

    Example:

    1. I apply to barclays and say I live at 12 anyplace and have done for 10 years.

2 I then apply to abbey and say I live at 168 high street and have done for 10 years.

This would show an obvious lie (the length of residency) thus a marker will be added and both lenders would be informed.

    Example 2:

    1. You apply for a credit product and give one address

    2. You then apply elsewhere and give the same details

    3. You then apply elsewhere and change the address slightly

    4. You then apply elsewhere and use the address in case 3

This would be fine, because although there is a change between addresses - the actual data is not reporting a lie (i.e. how can you be at two addresses for 10 years each at the same time!)...

Its hard to explain in writing mate! lol :D

As for employer details, again unless you make a blatant lie about dates etc then it will not get flagged cos people do guess! Like me, been doing this for 5+ years so I always say 5 years - this must be wrong cos I said 5 years last year and still do to this day - easy to remember! But that would not flag me cos it would show as an obvious pattern, not fraudulent.

Haha indeed! S'not funny :rotfl: :rotfl:

They wrote to me again - accounts (all 7 of them) are fine and credit limit still there etc but think I need to move on now...... they obviously think i'm something to do with the old link, which i'm not, and I cannot be arsed with all the messing about anymore - The link has been gone for a while now....

I did tell you I beat Equifax didn't I? Did I tell you how much I got though (libel is a risky game to play) :p:p:p

I think they 'have' added a CIFAS - the letter they sent suggested so   - - - - - never mind, it will add to my collection of 23 others! :rotfl:

(joke only got 2 that I know of!)

Speaking of N Hunter would it flag up if someone started to use an old current a/c? For example my Halifax a/c has been used and opened for 2 years. My Natwest a/c, although I haven't used it in ages, has been opened for 14 years. In the "Time with Bank" question, if I type in my Natwest a/c no. & sort code and enter 14 years, would that be suspicious, even though it is true?
