Does your home address usually work? I just tested a random address and it worked.....
And so many recent accounts must be bad, that's the problem I have, being 18 about 9 months ago. My Natwest accounts are 2003 & 2004 though, but they only started reporting in May 09 when I got to 18, so do they count as recent accounts or count as accounts in 2003 as that's what the start date shows?0 -

Oh we done that on the first SPC thread, even started a facebook. Best not eh?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Hi all, long time lurker, only joined today though as i need a bit of help! ( hope never in-doubt might know) I've seen a bit on the news today about credit card rate hikes and wondered if having too much available credit as well as having outstanding debt would go against me in the eyes of the lender.have a few searches as i seem to be addicted to seeing what credit i can get:D, never missed any payments or been late,
thanks0 -
Any time you apply for credit affordability is taken into account.
I you either
1. Owe a lot compared to your limits (i.e. balances =>75% of your limits)
2. Have access to credit facilities (i.e. total credit limits across all cards + loans) of more than about half your annual salary
The lender may consider you to be over committed or suffering debt stress, as such yes it can go against you depending on the situationCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
