Pointless SARing them unless you know something isn't right mate, i.e. do you get rejected for no reson?

If you do SAR them, they will send it recorded so will need signing, but as far as I recall it doesn't come like credit reports with the 'do not redirect' warning....

You could apply for it and say send it to this address but they may decline. It may be best to try it and let the redirect kick in naturally. It wouldn't make anything worse at all.

Thanks for info. got rejected twice already - straight decline for MBNA classic and sygma even though i have no adverse and no previous searches. Experian say my score is 956 but i know it's meaningless to lenders lol.

sygma rejected me in july and in feb. By then, they never searched my Equifax report even though they claimed they did. Equifax have also confirmed that sygma never searched me.

I phoned sygma again and they asked for 3 proofs of name and address to reconsider my application. That was what alarmed me.

And yes thanks again. I know recorded delivery and special delivery gets redirected, i do get them all the time. i will prob not SAR though if i shouldnt be alarmed.
  • Have you tried the likes of Tesco, or M&S or even Post Office..... these are mainstream but easier to get than some MBNA products...... Sygma can be a funny bunch mate, French remember lol.

With Experian having a high score like that, even though it means nothing, it does tell you there are no adverse warnings or it'd be a lot (lot) lower lol.

I suspect the lack of credit is affecting you, not so much adverse data.

  • Well done on the B'Card and Sygma app's matey :T :T

Apply for Tesco while you can and you know you're getting accepted, if they say no it doesn't matter cos you have these two and will no doubt wait 6 months before reapplying?

I'd do the Tesco one, if you get it and the limit is good - scrap the sygma/b'card which will be almost 10% higher anyway :p:p

    Cheers matey!

I will wait for the CRA updates overnight tonight and check that my balances are now showing at zero. I suppose I might aswell apply now as you suggest.

My only concern is that my experian has loads more searches than equifax.

I've had one since I moved to uni, cards have been redirected to me, as have CCAs, but I don't think credit reports will be (they normally come in do not redirect things).

Talking of cards, I need to get Natwest to give me a new card.....my one kind've went through the wash and all the plastic came off so it's just a bit of cardboard, they swipe thing doesnt work properly so shops have to manually enter the number if they don't have chip & pin - gets me funny looks :rotfl:
