They send a letter within a week, i'm still waiting for online access and the account has been open 2 weeks now. If you're unsuccessful they send a one liner saying, sorry - go away :rotfl:
The account is just a normal account, online, no chequebook. I posted an image of the card a few days ago (Tuesday 9th)..... There is nothing special about it, we all applied one day cos someone posted the link! It seems only a couple of us were accepted though, bless.....
Copy of MY card is below:

I'm interested to know if I've been removed from the electoral roll where I used to live..... that would explain recent declines I guess... do the remaining people have to pay tax or something for me if I'm on it still? I thought not as I'm a student, and not even living there, but maybe they do so removed me until I go back?
If I've been removed will I get an alert thing from that equifax/cap1 thing? I'm hoping the Barclays system is just screwed......0 -
No, Council Tax is paid per household, not per household member (that was the old poll tax system).
Strange that, people hating students, who would have guessed it? We have a uni here mate, and some of the talent is amazing, I love student nights :-)
Has anyone applied for a Lloyds TSB account online? what is the process? Was thinking of applying!0 -

Haha!! Students are always hated, ones like me for apparently not doing any work and going out etc, and then discriminated against by the banks . Haha what uni do you live by? Probably outside mine :rotfl:I llove student nights too!! The normal nights round here are dead though...should've gone to Bristol.........

Ah cool thanks, I don't know much about it, just know it causes problems if I want to live with my non-student friend next year, because I'd be exempt but due to them not being a student I'd have to pay 75% of the normal rate or something stupid

The students who spend every single night drinking away their money, then they start moaning they've got no money for food or bills is the kind of students who people hate. We’ve had to remove your signature. You mean the ones that go into a pub (en masse) and order 1 pint, 8 straws and then hog the pool table spending less than a fiver on a day out! Those types of students mate? :rotfl::rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
