How difficult is it to pass for an Argos Store card? I applied for one cos I want to buy some boxing stuff from there. It has been referred as I thought. Does anyone have any experience with Argos at all. Also who runs their store card? Was told Barclays but there is no mention on their website.0

I would say they are not too difficult to obtain, but not easy either.
Best of luck waiting for their decision, hope you will get it Sutton.
Hows things with you?0 -
The Barclaycard deal was for the argos mastercard.
The Argos Store Card is the same company that runs the Homebase card...
Home Retail Group Card Services.
I never got one. I found it easier to get a HFC Platinum card at 14.9% than an Argos card at 27.9% or whatever it is... mad

I've just applied for a capital one card again about 8 months after getting declined before. I have been given a "we will contact you again in 7 working days" message. Is that good or bad news?0

Yea, things are ok. I've been recently accepted for a Capital One card and A&L Current Account so things are looking a little better.
I may ring them up tomorrow and see what they say.
How everything with you? Have you applied for anything recently?0 -

Niether really. It's been referred to their underwriting department. You could try ringing them to see if a decision has been made. They may require I.D.
Good luck.
I recently got accepted after applying back in May. I was auto accepted though.0 -
