How difficult is it to pass for an Argos Store card? I applied for one cos I want to buy some boxing stuff from there. It has been referred as I thought. Does anyone have any experience with Argos at all. Also who runs their store card? Was told Barclays but there is no mention on their website.

I would say they are not too difficult to obtain, but not easy either.

Best of luck waiting for their decision, hope you will get it Sutton.

    Hows things with you?

The Barclaycard deal was for the argos mastercard.

The Argos Store Card is the same company that runs the Homebase card...

    Home Retail Group Card Services.

I never got one. I found it easier to get a HFC Platinum card at 14.9% than an Argos card at 27.9% or whatever it is... mad

    Good luck ;)

I've just applied for a capital one card again about 8 months after getting declined before. I have been given a "we will contact you again in 7 working days" message. Is that good or bad news?

    Hows things with you?

Yea, things are ok. I've been recently accepted for a Capital One card and A&L Current Account so things are looking a little better.

I may ring them up tomorrow and see what they say.

How everything with you? Have you applied for anything recently?

Niether really. It's been referred to their underwriting department. You could try ringing them to see if a decision has been made. They may require I.D.

    Good luck. :)

I recently got accepted after applying back in May. I was auto accepted though.

When did you last apply for Argos?

I just want some Boxing equipment and don't want to fork out too much.

Ive applied for Tesco CC and was instantly accepted with a credit limit of 4K! So just a matter of time waiting for the card to come through!

On the capital one card, when your going throug the application process. It gave me all Ticks when the decision was being made

I cant remember what it said, i think it was something about a few days wait, prob 7 to 10. But i wasnt told whether it was accepted. Well not that i remember

I had a CCJ. It has been about 19 months. What is the chances of getting a card? Should i wait to apply if i dont get this capital one card
