Thanks for the number, I might phone tomorrow (the abroad one is inclusive from mobiles and they won't be able to tell the difference (unless they have a special international department, which I doubt, I do it to everyone else!)), just to ask if they will process my app subject to getting my student ID sent. With any luck the printer will work tomorrow anyway...0 -
Posted the terms and conditions paperwork to Tesco Finance on Saturday - they now have the paperwork and everything is completed. Told to expect card in 7-10 working days, but i guess i could get the card much sooner than that? Say Friday or Saturday?0

Just thought I'd but in and let everyone know that iZools is now single and living by himself. Life goes on
From a Money Saving perspective this is very bad news, as it means I've had to cut the payments to my Barclaycard so much that 33% of my monthly payments to them are interest. Was only about 5% before.
Ah well, life goes on, worse things have happened.

Hows troops?Especially the interest payments too! Is there any way to tell them you've changed your circumstances and see if they'll cut the interest rate a bit? What rate is it atm?
Hope it works out ok for you, that must suck. To break up is bad enough, but to break up with financial commitments to take into account (when you're probably really not in the mood to be bothering!) is bad too!0 -

Hehe thanks... The APR isn't great, already got it reduced once from 27.9 to 24.9, only had the card since November, it's no biggie though owe under a grand overall, and it's only temporary until I find a house mate for the spare room
I closed the account after Barclays Bank p!$$3d me off, so I don't think they'll cut the interest again... it's fine though, as soon as I fill the spare room the card will be cleared in next to no time.
ElkyElky You'll be fine, good luck with your driving test. (As irony has it I'm watching the episode of South Park at the moment featuring the old people killing everyone and having their driving licences revoked...
Lemma1968 Well done on the Progress, could get increased to £600 ~ £1100 depending how much you spend and repay. If you get it up to 85% of it's limit each month and repay in full they'll really want to raise it enough so that you can't afford the whole balance each month... ergo more likely to earn interestCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
