Hi - just some info for you lovely peeps.
I just got accepted for Vanquis £250 limit and 39.9% interest rate :eek:LBM Nov 07Challenges: A Payment A Day Challenge 2012 Joined 08.03.12PADding Total:March £57.65 April £10.10DFWNerd - 1041-Proud to be dealing with my debts!Pesky CC March 2012 £2916.73:eek:Debt@March 2012 (inc OD) £5615 DFD self imposed target Feb 20140 -
Sorry - hit enter before I had finished LOL. My credit report shows 2 CCJ's £160 (long since paid but I haven't applied for the cert yet) dating back to 2006 and another CCJ at £3240 (being paid off at the mo) in Jan 2007. Also 2 defaults in 2005 and 2006 - 1 satisfied and 1 in the process of being paid and both around the £300 at the time of default.
Just wanted to post that because there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why some are accepted and some not. Extra info: have been working ft for over 1 year and am council tenant.
Anyways, I shall only be spending about £60 per month on it for petrol and wil pay it off religiously. Hopefully this will all help my 'credit worthiness' when I have finished paying off my debts - Sept 2011!

=ElkyElky You'll be fine, good luck with your driving test. (As irony has it I'm watching the episode of South Park at the moment featuring the old people killing everyone and having their driving licences revoked...
LOL That's an amazing episode.
I will fail, my instructor got a new car yesterday and I've only driven it once. I stalled a lot. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I've put my kilt on to bribe that examiner, I hear I'm getting a female. :eek:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
When did you last apply for Argos?
I just want some Boxing equipment and don't want to fork out too much.
A few years ago before going bankrupt. Applied when I was 18, again when I was 20. Obvs very limit history when I was 18, but had two years flawless payment history over two credit cards, a store account, and a mobile, when I applied at age 20... so not really sure why they declined me second time given I was approved for a mortgage a few months later...Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
