Thanks! I'm going car window-shopping at the weekend but I'm not sure yet if I should buy one or wait a little.

I thought I was going to fail, considering yesterday was the first time using my instructors new car - I stalled a couple of times but the examiner was understanding as I made it clear to him before starting the test I'd stall purely because of the new car. Surprisingly, he didn't mark it as a minor and he just pretended it never happened.
Haha, can't wait til I can eventually go car shopping :D

Yea that's good then! They don't have to mark stalling though, a lot of them let the first time go due to nerves, and mark every one after that

I'm sending off the form to close my Barclays account tomorrow (young persons account). Only have First Direct and HSBC then.

Now I've got First Direct, I wont be using any other bank. I also closed my CapitalOne Classic. Had it open for a year now, but they will not increase my limit from £200. I'll reapply for their Progress card once I have confirmation that the account is closed.

No the Classic is the easiest to get.

The Progress card "should" reduce in APR as your credit improves. The Classic won't. The limits are similar though. Elky has one and he only has a £100 limit. I have a Classic with a £200 limit. Very strange.

Sorry Sutton to hear about Argos decline. It sounds very much a decline letter is on its way to you unless it is a letter asking for more info, so there is hope! Have you considered apply for Tesco Clubcard CC? Worth a try if you ask me!

Christ, Tesco will definately say no to me. I can't get much when they search Experian tbh.

That's why I was thinking about the Silver Card by Sgyma. Any advice?
