I think there are a couple of people on here who have a £100 limit. I think Seeya does and maybe Mrs_Ryan too.
Very strange.0 -

I called Tesco today to find out whats happening with the application. After reviewing paperwork I sent out over the weekend, it was approved yesterday and ordered a new card to be sent out to my address.
I don't know when i will recieve the card...they did say 7- 10 working days but i think it will be a couple of days....
Yea, i've heard a few stories from people about Sgyma, they issue cards and then stop them after 2 weeks use, very bizarre. I think they're French, so that goes a little way to explaining their actions. lol
Or CIFAS you for no reason. It's a risk, but, i'll have a think.0 -

Thats very bizarre indeed! Why would they stop cards being used after 2 weeks? Maybe they have received info that was not accurate and decided to CIFAS them and at the same time cancel cards??
As long you are accurate, consistent, and truthful in credit applications to lenders, including Sgyma, then you got nothing to worry about.
Sgyma are famous for putting CIFAS on anyone who are suspected of fraud or lying on application! So yes there is a risk that they might CIFAS you for trivial things.0 -
Don't get put off what i just said above - just apply and see what they say!!0

I did have a £100 limit - its now £200.
It did used to be the case that the Classic card's minimum limit was £200 - it was when I worked there the first time. But then they started handing out £100 limits when I worked there the second time - around about the time that the card with an increase on the third statement (there is a name for it aside from the Classic card - cant remember what though.) came about - I assume this is so they could accept more people.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Its sygma, by the way. Cards from them not too difficult to obtain if your equifax report is decent.0

Me too, perhaps he does have a Classic card and doesn't know it.
No, I have the plus card.
How I know? Well, it's a Mastercard for a start and I'm getting 0% on my purchases.
EDIT: I've just send Capital One a secure message asking about the credit limit. I hadn't realised the summary box said the minimum credit limit was £500.Hello
I was looking at the summary box for my Capital One Plus credit card and it states the minimum credit limit for the card is £500, and the maximum is £5,000.
I'm just wondering why I was given £100 as apposed to the minimum stated on the summary box?
I previously held the Capital One Classic credit card which I ran flawlessly and even that had a bigger credit limit, £500 if I remember correctly.
I personally think £100 is an insult to the years I've spent building up a flawless credit history with absolutely no adverse data. I held the Capital One Classic card for a number of years and in that time, I believe I have proven myself to Capital One to be a trustworthy person with credit that has been given to me.
