how long did you have it before first increase? I will have mine 7 months when I go on holiday and may want limit increased ebfore that
I had my first up after 3 months but it was only £100. 6 months after that it went up £500 on request and then £800 6 months after that

My sentiments too. If JD Williams will not give you credit, your rating is trash

It's now back again saying I have £125 . Maybe it was because it was so early in the morning and that's when system upgrades generally happen (like Online Banking screws up that early too).

That was my last application anyway, and after 6 months all my searches will have been wiped. I don't "need" any of these (well only 1 for train tickets), but I'm sure everyone will agree it's nice to have credit if you can handle it…. :)

My friend asked the same thing in the wee hours. He logged in but his balance etc wasn't showing. I logged in and mine wasn't either. I just concluded that they update their systems overnight

    Yep I guess that's it.

Just ordered some jeans from them, that I needed anyway, to see if it is working or not (last night it was forcing me to put in credit/debit details) and it’s gone through as “customer account”. The problem is I'm at uni (with mail redirection) and they want to send the first order "home" (where all my cards etc are still registered). Do these use Royal Mail or a courier? If it's Royal Mail they'll get forwarded on to me (just late), if it's the courier then I'm going to have to get them sent back up here

    Thanks :)

By anyone if you mean shop assistanats etc, they do not look at who isued the card. I worked in retail for years and if anyone had asked me what type of card a customer had I would not have been able to say apart form a credit card lol People pay even less attention now since chip and pin.

See I work in lettings, and whenever any future tenant uses their card to pay the deposit etc, I always have a look to see where its from as it gives me a good idea to what their credit report will come back like :)

My Ulster Bank card has a picture of the Bull Ring in Birmingham at night on it and a few shop assistants have remarked how lovely it looks.

Have noticed a few people with Ulster Bank card ... whats with these ?
