Thanks - beats waiting for 7 years with the Halifax to still be told no !!

Wish they had told me this all them years ago, I would prob be more sorted by now.

I have an halifax cashcard aco!!!! for about 16 years, during that time I ahve had 4 mortgages, credit cards from other companies, current accounts with full facilites with other banks and halifax still only give me a electron card,

When we entered IVA in 2005 we needed a account we had no debts with so used the halifax account, in 2008 IVA paid off, they would still not give us a current account so changed to Ulster Bank with full facilities.

We keep the halifax account for the electron card for flights only now lol

My Ulster Bank card has a picture of the Bull Ring in Birmingham at night on it and a few shop assistants have remarked how lovely it looks.

They noticed the picture but did they notice the " ulster bank" name lol

The only reason I have an Easycash account is for the Visa Electron so I can book flights without the extra charges.

I do. I am glad I moved away from Belfast as I had a feeling it was starting to slip back to its bad old ways.
