    NID - quick question.

    When I get my rear end into gear tomorrow (probably) am going to resend my letter to NW for CCA.

    Is it worth adding to the end of the template that I have requested previously, what they supplied was not what was required (was general T&Cs for numerous accounts (possibly including mine) and if they dont supply the CCA, I will invoke a SAR where they will be obligated to provide it?
    No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

    Hi Mate thought i'd already pointed you in the direction of the standard letter to send when they send terms: Send that and see what they come back with (I bet you a tenner it will be more bullsh!t lol) :p

    Click the link and go to the middle letter, highlighted in red below mate.
    16. Various CCA Query Letter 'Variations'
    Variations of CCA Queries, i.e.
    - CCA Dispute - Illegible Copy Document Supplied;
    - CCA Dispute - Terms & Conditions Supplied;
    - CCA Dispute - Copy Document Supplied;

    By the way, a SAR doesn't guarantee anything, it is governed by the ICO which as you know, cannot place sanctions or fine so really not much they can do when the lender refuses to comply with a s.78 or a SAR.

    Good Point - Never actually thought of the fact the ICO have little power.

    Exactly so you're better sticking to CCA as you can at least have case law as backing to your argument. :D

    Its ok, dont thank me for the letter - no probs lol....... hahah

    I've got my Student Finance money (shocked!). Just put 2k of it in Halifax account, will they know what I'm playing at?:p. That's got like £3,500 in now, which blatantly isn't going to stay there for long, but hoping the +£3,500 might convince them I won't be going into an unarranged overdraft any time soon!

    Haha shocked I've got it. They haven't updated my details so I won't get a £200~ bursary until they do, but I've just got a £2k+ payment, hmmm!!!

    Sales are tempting :p I'll certainly be checking out some laptops over the next week!
