    I didn't even think they searched you mate! BT never searched me - I dunno if they report, I nearly dies last month when I heard Virgin were sharing data which won;t last long cos they wouldn't get half their customers signing a CCA now would they - also, what if you pay in advance - then no need for a CCA.

    It is flawed, as is British Gas recording data - BG are losing that many customers they will soon cease this silly action. :D

    I'm surprised you never went direct to BT, what does the PO have to do with phones mate; I thought they dealt with stamps? lol :confused::confused:
    :rotfl::rotfl:

    And not reporting surprises me, I thought they all reported :confused:

    Yea seeya is a NC fan :eek::eek::eek:

    Who do you support then? :D
    Haha! Bath. We got knocked out the cup harshly by Forest Green....Forest Green went on to draw Notts County! I know someone from uni who supports Notts County too haha, would've been some interesting times leading up to that match (when they eventually play it anyway!). Winners have Wigan, even more interesting!!

    I think BT must credit check, as when I originally signed up with them they wanted £50 deposit, although the previous tennant owed £900 - :mad:

    I am currently with BT, and I hate them with a passion, speaking to people who know so little (I know more than them having worked for TalkTalk for a short period) - they struggle to understand me (not slating what part of the world they are in, as they speak better English than I do Indian etc), cant set up a direct debit properly, sending me bills, then when calling them making no sense (thats if I get a bill at all) - plus on Post Office phone its free 0870/0845 and free mobile calls all weekend and its only £12 - I currently pay more for way less on BT - I seriously hate BT, so so much! And I cant get Virgin Media in my area :confused:

    Ooooh I'm 60 to 70% to get Barclaycard according to pre-application check. What bits of my report can that see? Because it's not a full search so shouldn't be able to see everything? So I don't want to apply (I won't now anyway, I'll wait til it's a high %) and they say I've got too many existing commitments or something else equally stupid (cheers Sainsburys!)

    Also there's no student option so I put part-time. I don't actually have a proper part time job (yet), but get money that is as good as, if not better than, a part time job. Is that ok or not? Would they ever ask for proof of my actual job? Would it be better to go through the unemployed one? I'm just thinking that's bad - no disrespect to anyone that's unemployed! But surely if you're unemployed you are less likely to be able to repay their money, and I know what a joke SFE is, JSA etc is also run by the government so that's probably a shambles too!

    I did go back to the form and change the box to unemployed and that came out with the same result but don't know if that's because I've only just ran a check or what?

    Zack each time you do a barclays pre-app check they search call credit, soft search. Because they then move to Equifax when you click apply, the % they give is irrelevant! I got 90% on the barclaycard initial and got declined lol

    I'm getting 60-70 now though, rather than a decline like it said before, using the same details, so they must be able to see something about my repayment history on Call Credit?

    Oh, has anyone had any problems with using the Pay Vanquis thing online? As I used it for the first time this morning.

    But (from what I could tell) you need a Student account to get a student card... I have a student account with Natwest. Anyway aren't Barclays and Barclaycard different things?

    I think I put unemployed on my last Barclays application (although how they didn't ask why somebody unemployed gets 10k I don't know), maybe that's why they declined me :confused:. Now it's saying I've got a 60% chance with unemployed (although the % doesn't seem to matter too much if NID had 90% and was declined!). Where does it say it's not for students? It says their current account is not for students (which I understand as Barclays offer it and Barclays offer a student account) but it doesn't say the Barclaycard isn't and Barclaycard don't offer a student card. So surely in Barclaycards eyes I'm unemployed, as thats the option that suits me from the list. Or part-time when I get a job

    I want to call Halifax and see what they have to say about my account, but they removed the number when it changed to a 48 hour thing
