i had a halifax current account and have recently upgraded it to the reward account but have noticed on EX & EQ that they've created it as if its a new account.

Same Sort code and Acc Number so could i not argue for it to carry on reporting as if its the previous account?

Excellent. From many disgruntled customers. :D

Make sure you hit the CEO's office at the very top. If the brick hits him, then that's a bonus. You'll probably want to cover the brick in dog doo first. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I told you mate! Get online and make a claim for the full amount owed plus statutory interest from the day of refund, not the date they issued the cheque the actual day you won.

You add interest plus costs - so i'd be going along the lines of claiming at least £30 stationary costs along with the main claim. :D

NID - I have been accepted for a Post Office Home Phone - dont think this would have been a hard credit check to pass, but does that mean they will report to CRA's? And do BT?

    You support Notts County?

Haha! Our games haven't been cancelled (yet), but can't see much going ahead. Cancelling them at the top level because of public safety is ridiculous, just tell the public to watch where they're walking! If the pitch isn't playable (like most at our level!) then fair enough, but to cancel (so far) a load of SPL games, both Carling Cup semis and 2 PL games is a joke

I think BT have a credit check, my mate was moaning about them messing something up on his file. Pretty sure it was them he was on about anyway. As for Post Office, I'd be very surprised if they didn't check or report. Have you had any existing products from them (savings etc?) that might have saved them checking you I suppose

I didn't even think they searched you mate! BT never searched me - I dunno if they report, I nearly dies last month when I heard Virgin were sharing data which won;t last long cos they wouldn't get half their customers signing a CCA now would they - also, what if you pay in advance - then no need for a CCA.

It is flawed, as is British Gas recording data - BG are losing that many customers they will soon cease this silly action. :D

I'm surprised you never went direct to BT, what does the PO have to do with phones mate; I thought they dealt with stamps? lol :confused:
