Hey Messy ~ enjoy every moment of it
soon you will be washing his socks and moaning that he leaves his boxers on the floor
Way too hot to be working, should be an instant holiday as soon as the temperature hits 28 degrees here ~ we should start a campaign
I would try a coolish shower instead Slavvy, our water pressure for some reason has just gone stupid so we only have a trickle of water coming out, would take ages to fill the bath and the shower has a tendency to go really hot then freezingat least I am getting plenty of exercise jumping in and out of the water!
Do you have long to go CG before the end of term? Both mine have finished! Although my son took his gcses so he left ages ago it seems! but my daughter, if she had been in for the last two weekswould have finished Friday last week.
Hope you're all surviving the heat.....
Hugs :grouphug:

And - on this lovely warm sunny day, my neighbour has just beaten the crap out of his other half in the garden, then in the house. Now he's wrecking the house.

Oh Urban
I used to be one half of that couple ~ my neighbours called the police on more than one occasion ~ I hated going out of the house in the days following which is ridiculous as it wasn't my fault

I know what you mean Philippa and (((hugs)))
When you understand, you fell so bl**dy helpless. I've heard arguing before, but he's never been so blatant. She's withdrawn with me and now I understand why. You feel ashamed afterwards dont you - especially if you know people have heard
I really feel for her. Sometimes these hot sunny days are overshadowed by life events.

They say heat makes people far worse than any other outside factor. There was a road rage incident at lunchtime just at the corner of HS, two guys screaming and shouting at each other...... fortunately someone broke it up and they went their separate ways.
Well, it is due to break tomorrow I think ~ now we finally have a fan in the office

Careful_girl wrote:Slavvy you are a star. Good on you with your trolley. Next time offer to have a drink perhaps she can only say no. Not that I am any good at this type of stuff. Don't have a cold bath. Your body will generate heat to keep you at normal temp. Whae you get out it will take time to readjust. Warmish is better.
I sound preachy today.
Will be late for school. Keep cool all.
CG Cool girl.:o
:rotfl: Asking a girl I nearly ran over in Tesco for a drink will make me come across seedy :rotfl: Anyway, she was about 20/21 at a guess, and i'm 30, so i'd feel very oddI know I have to take more risks, but the rejection thing is too big an issue for me right now.
I'll try a luke warm one, this heat better be off soon0 -

 People like that should be put away.
Was it the male beating the female? I ask, because in my last relationship, my partner used to punch and elbow me, but on the sly as if it were an accident. It wasn't until right at the end of the relationship that I realised it though.
It was my fault, I should have realised it when she first moved in with me, and after about 2 nights, I had a different opinion than her about something and I was lying in bed and she was sitting up and punched me and kicked me under the covers and was in a blind rage. I don't recall what it was all about, but it would have been something over nothing.
Not a main issue in my life, I just didn't want to hit her back as it's not how I go about things.0 -

My flatmate's friend has that water problem, but the plumbers who installed everything say it's normal and the reason it looks like there is less water than before is......................the taps are bigger and the water running is spread out more :rotfl:0 -
