Asked him ages ago (before I moved out) if he could still get it up with a hernia. No he couldnt, it hurt to much. :rotfl: Made me want to wear my sexiest underwear and parade about the house to wind him up.
In 25 minutes time its a year exactly since I have had any rumpy pumpy.imagine if it all happened together on the pier!
Would give the seagulls a snack.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Good to see you have as nice an ex as me Messy
aren't they just wonderful
Ok, so you all want to know about my holiday and are not just being polite? well sit down and I will tell you everything
We arrived in Atlanta on Friday night, all very excited and looking forward to the next two weeks. Stayed in downtown atlanta, went out for dinner then all crashed. Me and o/h were awake by 5:30am and decided to go for a walk at 6am ~ big mistake........ were escorted round the block by some very shifty guy through some very dodgy neighbourhood then fleeced for $10 ~ we didn't have anything less but fortunately weren't carrying much cash anyway
So a bad start but then the rest of the fortnight was wonderful ~ we drove down to South Carolina to a very posh gated community where we had rented a beach house for two weeks. 5 mins from the beach and plenty of areas of local interest! We even saw an alligator the first night basking in the lagoon just outside the back of the house!
We hired bikes and a kayak for the fortnight and swam every day in warm water with very hot sunshine, a long beach to wander, and great waves to surf ~ the kids had those body board things but it wasn't really a surf beach, it was too flat.
We spent a weekend in the middle in Denver ~ my o/h has friends there ~ we left the kids with my Dad and his wife and enjoyed a few days peaceDrove along the highest road in the US up through the Rockies and I spent most of it trying to ignore the ridiculous drop on one side of the car  The only problem with Denver was the constant downpour the entire 3 days! It hadn't rained in months either
The hotel was very posh though (they had afternoon tea every day at 4pm for ladies in hats
not me at all!) and what I saw of Denver was really nice, we'll hopefully go back there next year.
Didn't do half as much as I wanted to do, but more than I thought we would! Came back with an extra suitcase bursting at the seams after spending a fortune in the outlet malls in Denverand now am browing the web looking for somewhere to stay next year! We're thinking of a place in Florida with the friends of my o/h travelling down from Denver to stay with us
Now I am back in work and it feels like the day should be almost over but it isn't even lunchtime yet
WTG Messy and your new blokehope it all works out perfectly ~ I could never wear heels with my ex, he didn't like me being taller than him  nice to have a guy that is taller than me, even with 4"'s on

Oh P what a dowwner back at work already. It sounded fab though!
So what did you buy then?
I'm impressed it was only one extra suitcase especially with all the bargains!
Florida malls are great too, only been there once but would love to go back

We bought clothes, and lots of em ~ my o/h loves to shop too
we spent a fortune in Tommy Hilfiger ~ I now look very american! and all for a quarter of what it would cost here. Bought shoes too
and trainers
Could have spent a lot more but I don't know how we would have got it home, one suitcase was over the limit and we had to empty a few things out of it  mortifying at the airport
Yes Tango ~ I'll put you in the large one ~ more breathing space“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

It sounds like an eventful time! How lovely to have such a varied holiday. I have been to the Rockies and Denver. I stayed in a tent though! The rockies were great. Loved Colorado. Am green with envy. No hols for me for another year. Can spend time with NiKki though. Oh and decorating Damp Cottage.
Boxes call again.

Evening all. Sounds like you had a fab holiday Philippa.
I'm saving the tokens out of the sun to get a break later in the year. Hopefully it will soften the blow of no holiday abroad this year, or next, or the year after that.
Just a quick update to say i've arranged to swap my beloved car in for a slightly older car thats not quite as flash. I swap it on wednesday after work. Feel really pleased with myself. If you see my signature you'll see why
Mum is lots better today and sounds very chirpy on the phone. Gonna relax in front of telly now with a skinny cow ice cream.Last bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0 -
