KP - Well done on the run!!!
You brave - and mad - person! How did you recover so quicky???
Your dad is never far away from you, and still looks after you in his way.
Dress sounds fantastically decadent! Betcha look-and feel-fabulous in it.:j
How did everyone's day go?? Was it a hot and sunny one for all??
Mine - Union set a dreadline of close of business today for me to 'think again and respond' to the 2 pants offers - without talking to me. As I had plans today (took my 80yr old neighbour shopping, and tea and chat - lovely man but not at all well) got the message after close of business soooooo........oooh things are gonna get nasty towards me!
BUT phoned another union rep, she sounds like she's listening. See what happens when she speaks to the twister (my rep).............AND ......
phoned a few job agencys today -got appointments next week.
Fully expecting some damn nasty phone calls tomorrow, or a knock on my door.
Never mind - the wine is red, the chocolate is milk, and the hour is late.
Sweet dreams friends xxx

Good on you with the dress now and again we need a splurg especially on dresses, shoes, bags, jewellery ooppsss this is supposed to be a moneysaving site, well if we save cash shopping its no good always saving for the rainy day eh!

Thanks for all your congrats on the race! I'm really proud of being there, a year ago I didn't think I'd get round the course so I said no but after eing motivate by Paul McKenna and the get thin programme I have more belief in myself.
Huggs to Urbs for having to deal with all the crap from the union and the awful work situation.
I'm always moneysaving, saved 10% on the dress with a voucher and also bought a lovely scarf to go with it at half price, just £4.50. Borrowing a silver pashmina from my collegue and I am also bidding on a couple of dresses on Ebay, I won't wear them that often so no point in forking out tons.
My colleagues are always laughing at me with my coupons and never paying full price for anything. Not having money problems makes it easier though, I bought loads of half price toys in the January sales and popped them in the cupboard, whenever DS has a party to go to I just dig one out!The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -
I think spending is fine! Martin just wants us to get things for the best price.I love spending, just have put so much money into property for the last 10 years there hasn't been much left. OH having no job has made things worse.
I think we should all spoil ourselves as it the hols.
I saved £200 on the house insurance.
No real news from me just desperate to move or win the lottery. Will check.
Time for pudding and red wine.:T
Take care,

Yeah Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's me on holiday for 3 weeks. Now time for the hard work to start. Planning on getting my kitchen finished and if I have time my sitting room. I'll need another holiday after this to get over the decorating. Anybody got any DIY skills that could come up and help me??? DS is going over to Grandad's for a week or so so I have a spare futon going
KP I think if I did anything that energetic I'd die!! I need to get the sitting room done so I can start doing Davina again and shed some of those extra pounds (i means stones). Also must give OH a kick in the rear so that he'll fix my bike. I would do it , but he promised he would so I have to keep him do it as he can be a bit lax in his household duties.

Hi All,
Finally back after delays at the airport in Atlanta ~ we left South Carolina at 11am to get to the airport early tooarrived in Manchester at 11am and although the sun was shining I was still cold and wrapped in a big sweatshirt! Still adjusting after the 104 degree weather we left behind ~ it was too hot and incredibly humid, but so long as the air conditioning was on it was just about bearable ~ especially after I managed to get sunburn 3 days before we left
I have two boxes PM's (they only have 6 in each but I wasn't sure if they were the right ones) anyway ~ if they were for you, please pm me
cos I can't remember who I got them for
Hope everyone is ok and surviving work, life and all the other stuff that drives us all crazy ~ still a little jet lagged so I will sign off and catch up more tomorrow.........
hugs :grouphug:
