  • Sounds like a lot of fun CC! Glad you are feeling better in yourself.

First person to look at my house wants to rent it so touch wood that will all go smoothly. Not sure if the agent is still bringing round the 2 appointments for tomorrow or not though and at the moment the place looks like a bomb site. Supposed to be moving in less than a month now and nothing is packed and I've just been bringing more furniture in!

Feeling really down at the moment. I hate being a Mum full time and its the end of a weeks holiday. Three times in the last 2 days I have been so angry I've had to walk right away from him - literally locking myself in the garden, I have an understanding of how people come to harm their children.

Not even happy about going back to school tomorrow as I'll need to be explaining to a lot of people why I havn't done a lot of stuff. I've decided not to proceed with my threshold application this year as I simply don't have time to do it. At the moment I am out of the door every night at 3pm to come home and look after DS as Mum is too tired and ex is too busy drinking (well I can come later with ex but that just means DS spends more time in the pub - or even the bookmakers!). I've got GCSE coursework still unmarked from last year, stuff for xmas submission still unmarked, the school website is out of date and people keep emailing me about it, I have 3 primary schools to visit as well and teach their children (remember I really don't like small children so this is double hard). I have done very little for KS3 and I have an NQT who seems to suck up all of my free time.

I think I need to change my name to cantcope as it sure feels like that at the moment. Sorry for the rant but I've been on the go all day and now the house looks like a bomb site. I need to pick up some more furniture tonight and then try and haul it in on my own. I got boxes out of the loft for my myth and magic collection but I have only cluttered up the living room with them!
The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j

Hi all hope we are feeling better,

I was doing alright but tonight on my way home from work `it` pulled up behind me with a woman in the passenger seat.

I feel like I have just been kicked in the guts, why:confused:, really thought I was over `it` but tonight has just proved I am no where near over `it`.

The thought of him with another woman has me wanting to rip his d ick off and gouge her eyes out.

Why  he didnt want me I am happier on my own I should be happy, but am crying my eyes out.

Sorry very upset by my reaction.

    Love all

    Messy.

Try and see it as something positive. "it" might have a new partner but surely she's welcome to him. No doubt he'll do the same to her.

Try and be strong. I understand how you feel. It does feel like a kick in the guts when you see your ex with a new partner. One of my exes married someone else 5 months after we broke of our engagement!

    Thinking of you xx

    Hi all
God what a pants time you are having I really feel for you guys.
KP I know it seems a nightmare but if you could do your threshold at least you will benefit - blow the cash on something that will make you feel good. I did it, it did take ages but I thought !!!!!! it we work too hard in this blooming job to not get what we deserve.
Messy I know it hurts like hell and cry, punch hell out of a pillow helps, I tried the smashing plates but I guess the Greeks have a good waiter to tidy up because it took the shine off it when I was still finding bits of china hours late
    take care
    wb xx
  • Oh I am sorry to hear about all the tough stuff that people are going through.
Messy I totally unnnderstand and remember that kick in the stomach, not that that helps but it is horrible. You have so much without "It" your new home, car, your job and your sons. He is not going to be with anyone half as good as you even if he is going out with her....she may have beeen having a lift. You have had other men interested and you could click your fingers and they would come running. Spoil yourself and think about him and his hernia stopping anything in the duvet department anyway!!
KP sorry to hear abut all the work and house worries. I have a pile of work unmarked from last year too. I have most of the whiteboards playing up and I hardly did any work last week. If you can get ya threshold form done do...it isn't too onerous and the money is ace. It is pretty hard for them to prove you don't deserve it. I am sure you can wing it. It is horrible when the list of stuff to do is long and it is difficult to know where to start.
My news is that I am a laughing stock at school as i locked my car in a car park last night when we went out and had to get lifts to get it back today. It was miles away!!
Some woman came in to do dance today with my class...you know watch and see how it is done....she was pulling her hair out with my lot...I had to help her as they were little monsters...poor woman!!:rotfl:
Love to all and be strong,
