Oh CC - don't beat yourself up about a little slip , at least you had the sense to stop before it got out of hand and have admitted to everyone who loves you (including all of us) that you have had a slip - one step backwards, two steps forward xxxx

Giving up any addiction is tough babes and it makes sense to reassess what you give parents if you feel like you are working for nothing.

Thing is about this place that no-one judges but if you were really being an idiot people would be straight and tell you - everyone is saying the same thing so move on and don't look backwards.

The puffy eyes will go - I have been the queen of the mike tyson look more than I'd have liked in recent weeks !

On the !!!!!! front no contact for 2 days but going out tonight and nervous he will turn up again - if he does just going to rise above it again x Few good jobs come through today so fingers crossed will be back in the land of living (well working) soon.

KP - your house looks beautiful and no you don't sound bitter about your ex , it's his loss ultimately although the financial loss does hurt a bit xx

CC can i give you a little piece of advice? PM martin, and ask him to change you're user name from "cantcope" to "cancope" as i think cancope will be a better username for you

Feeling a bit better this afternoon. Had a nice long sleep (took half day from work). Everyone is still off sick and was meant to be my day off today anyway.

i dont have a sponsor at Ga, i have a close friend but i prop him up most of the time as he gambles nearly every other week. I'm the only female in the group so its a bit nervewracking most of the time. Have only missed 3 weeks since May so am gonna go tonight and tell them all and listen to them telling me off and hopefully offering advice.

Will post again tomorrow.

Please don't beat yourself up girl, you did good, you stopped and that is the good bit, think positively, there was a time when you would not have been able to - so stop looking like Tyson because that must be well scary!!!
How are things ukb? Any closer to getting your hands on your money?
I finally am over the poxxy dose of tonsilitus and double (yep single is not good enough for me!) dose of ear infections. I am pumped fill of pills and feeling myself again just before I go back to school - great I think.
Anyway hope everyone has a better weekend then week

Was going to take her this week then bottled it.


She is old smelly and bad tempered. But still follows me around like a lost sheep.

Very sorry to hear that Messy, always a very difficult decision. And lets face it they are so much better company than men who are often also smelly and bad tempered!

Thoughts are with you both, you will make the decision when the time is right.

Last night was great. Everyone was in shock when i sat in the chair and said i'd had a bet. I was a little overwhelmed at the hugs i got and words of support from every single member there. to be honest i was expecting them to have a go at me as this has happened before when members have gambled over and over again. They are all genuinely gutted for me. And that was hard to see.

Feel much more positive today. Just gotta dust myself off and start again.

Got the girls coming over tonight. Going to get the chocolate fountain going and dig out my old games. Someone is bringing their playstation over too. so its a night of 30 somethings acting like teenagers. Just what i need right now.

Cheap and fun. All i need to buy is some nibbles.

Thanks for all the words of support. They lifted me up when i'd kicked myself down.
