  • Hi,
Sorry to hear you are still under the weather Wannubs, hopefully you can shake it in the next couple of days and enjoy the break. Supply teachers are a God send but I know exactly what you mean about the aftermath!!! I still haven't found the notes and my planning that mine left somewhere-perhaps she knicked my planning because it was so excellent! I stayed at scholl until 7pm Thursday reorganising everything. This half term I am determind to not leave the box of work I have brought home untouched, the IEPS have not been done as I left the old targets in the car and well it is in the garage and so far too difficult to get at!!!!!!!!:o
Well Nick is happy that I am better and has been pleased to go out again. Scared of puddles today......3 scrambling motorbikes belting towards her were fine though!!!!She was a disgusting sweaty thing when she got home as she is still not clipped so had to be bathed again- I need a car wash for her.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend-Messy get on with that cleaning....what do you think half term is for?:rotfl:

  • Hey CC...Sorry to hear about the noise problems....perhaps you should join them? You know what they say...if you can't beat them....Make sure that when you do move home that your mum isn't going to start to learn to play the drums or anything!
Good luck with sleeping, seriously can't believe your luck.
    Take care,

  • Hi all - been so busy lately not had time to post. And my wireless has been playing up and constantly disconnecting me so have not wanted to start typing much. Work is hectic, glad its the holidays. Still not moved, looking at 24th November if our solicitor sorts himself out. Ex is being a complete !!!!!! as per usual but was nice to me today. Will try and catch up by reading back messages for the next few days, just thought I'd say hello.

  • Hi Kp!! Nice to hear from you again. Men are a pain (oh on here Mc is a woman I hear). I am going to get wireless perhaps you can offer tips on what is good and of course cheap, so I can use the comp in the warmer sitting room or dining room rather than here where there is a gale blowing!! Drafty cottage (only this room)!!

  • Wireless is pretty simple, problem I was having is due to the integral wireless card in my laptop being knackered. Work replaced it but seems no better so now plugging a card in and no problems.

Damp and drafty in your cottage - I'm saving money though this year by not putting the heating above 20 (my standard is 22) so I'm sitting in fleecy dressing gown and have my feet inside a slipper cushion! Am getting in practice for the new house, it has oil fired hot air heating and lots of rooms so need to cut costs or will be seriously out of pocket!

  • Ok I need some advice :

While rat was with me I loaned him some money - his ex had his cash cards the first couple of periods he was with me and then the last time when we went to the lakes we agreed I would pay for everything and he'd give me half. On return he admitted that he was in a spot of bother with some gambling debts to the tune of £2,700 and I told him to use his pay to get this man off his back. Stupid in retrospect but that's what happened and I can't change it - question is have I got any way of getting this money back legally ? He is basically laughing at me now saying to go and get a crisis loan from the DSS - after I lost my job because of him and I can't believe someone could intentionally hurt someone this much.

Satruday just gone he turned up at the house and asked to come back even proposing again - I think it was realising that I didn't want him any more as now he's just turned evil.

He owes me £1070 - I never even charged him a penny for groceries etc while he was here , this is all cash and the holiday costs.

I know I've been stupid

If I can't get it back I need to bring him down !

    Things I can do :

Inland Revenue as I know he hasn't declared all his earnings plus when he ran his own business he did a lot of cash jobs - the invoices for which are hidden in his loft. I have recently found out he did a few months for fraud 5 years ago when he overcharged people while running a separate business.

Flyers - thought about making some up telling people what a rat he is and fly posting the area where he lives with full details of his prison record

Write to his parents and tell them the full story - how he has conned me etc

Sell my story to take a break !

Benefits - I am sure his 'ex' will have told the DSS several weeks ago that he had left. At the moment he is staying with his sister in Manchester and occupying himself sending the most disgustingly hurtful texts to me but he is planning to go back to her in the next couple of days.

No point contacting her as she's probably been told a pack of lies about me and I could do without a verbal assault from her on top of all this.

I know I should rise above it all and I will probably do none of the above but at the moment I am hurting really badly.

    Sorry for a long one

    Hx

Inland Revenue - you could tip them off about it

Flyers - that would not be a good idea, if you publish his address and that, he can get you arrested and charged for harrasment.

Write to his parents and tell them the full story - do you think they will belive you?

Sell my story to take a break - he is not a celeb so they wont be intrested

Benefits - what would you do with that? takes ages to file complaints

i would think more about small claims courts for the £1070 and see about some sort of restraining order if he is pestering you.
