wow - looks like every1 is so busy getting ready for christmas....

this thread was on the 8th page!

anyway- how is everybody?

Ive been ok the past while - have been kinda down but feeling alot better today was out with ma cam

Took a coupla shots, will be out tomorow taking more

It was dark so i thought about what i could take shots off.... our christmas tree lights are all on but i had to get home so i didnt have alot of time spare


D50 - 18mm, f/4, 1/25, manual, spot, handheld

Building is the Melvin House Hotel - West End. Vehicle being blurred was fantastic - shows motion blur (means that the car is moving in the image)


D50 - 74mm, f/16, 8 sec, manual, spot, tripod

I was trying to do a "speed light" feature in this shot but the traffic was very light, so i couldnt get any (will get some tomorow) So instead, i tried to do a speedlight as it was - i did manage it with the vehicles in the BG of the shot.

In laymens terms, i wanted to get a trailing shot of the taillights / headlights together mixed up so thats all you see, no car - and to do this, you use a very long shutter speed with low apature.

Hi everyone. Hope you are all well. I'm ok. Really busy at work. And have been busy at home too.
Am totally off the antidepressants now and to be honest i dont feel any different.
Put my tree up tonight and all my presents are underneath. I cant believe I got it all finished before the 1st December.

the past few days have been hard - mum back in hospital but shes out again - its testing me thats for sure. Tried to work out the debts, starting to get there now, hopefully have them all cleared really soon. Feeling okay, have been down recently but with ma mum not being too good, ive had to get on with things

i am glad to hear that mclaren, yes keep that in mind that things will get better, i am sure its not easy, you sound like a lovely lad
at least we are not having any snow and frost yet here in the east of scotland, take care x
